Both my kids, 4 and 1 love this watering can. We take it to the park all the time and my 4 year old loves to water the trees and make dirt soup using this watering can. It holds a lot and is easy for her to carry. The bight color is great so I can find it if it ends up on the other side of the park.[...]

5.0 out of 5 stars More Colors Please, August 25, 2011

My 4 year old daughter loves Unravels. The idea of tearing off the paper tickles her, to the point I have to really be on her to only do it when she has colored enough that the wax is close to the paper. She likes the idea of the messages too so I can only imagine how much fun it is for kids in 1st grade and older who can read. She can't tear the paper off crayons well so Unravels allow her to do it herself. As with the old version of wax pencils this can be tricky sometimes, but then she just brings them to me for help. I used to use china markers - an orange one - to mark up contact and negative sheets. Although I rarely see printed contact sheets now I will still have to " borrow" them to work on some edits from time to time. I'm fond of how well the pencils write; smooth, bold colors. Looks so much better then when you try to write with a crayon. Just wish there were more colors. [...]

4.0 out of 5 stars how can Silk not be soft?, November 5, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Of course it is soft! It's silk. Yes it is thin and not so much for warmth. I was looking for a blankie for my son and this is perfect. Great size for baby and not too big to carry around if he gets attached to it as a toddler. The flannel side isn't as yellow as pictured(not the same yellow as the moon and stars which is a bit disappointing but overall happy with it.)
$60-70 is too expensive for what it is though.

3.0 out of 5 stars not good as a marrionette, February 12, 2009

The strings are too long for this to work well. my daughter loves marrionettes but this one you can't make dance/move very well. the strings on the legs are too long. she does like to carry it around. I might just cut the strings off and she can have it as a stuffed animal. it is super soft and cuddly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really great toy, August 14, 2008
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:5.0 out of 5 stars
The handle tends to come off, but that's the only bad thing i can say about it. I bought it for my 15 month old and she LOVES it! She is young for it but she loves to put all the figures in the shoe and then take them all out again. If you child likes little people then this toy would be great for them. The figures are really cute. She'll grow into the pretend part...but for now she is learning how to open and close the does and different parts of the shoe. She love the little fairy noise it makes. I may get the iplay cottage down the road to add to her village...but having to pick just one I recommend this one.
