1.0 out of 5 stars neuroanatomy, August 5, 2009
This book probably fits high school students but not medical students. It is very short to give the least discussion of neuroanatomy. The graphs are hand written and are completely unclear. In general, this is an amateur book which does not fit university level books. It has no clinical discussion although its title implies it is clinical in nature.

3.0 out of 5 stars immunology, August 5, 2009
This is a concise book for beginners in immunology. It has many information which are not necessary to memorize such as cell structure and mode of function.

It lacks the clinical section and correlation with disease. It is very short to be a comprehensive introduction in the area of immunology.

I recommend to the author for future version to delete unnecessry information such as cell structure and mode of action and to concentrate on the clinical information which is the ultimate interest of the medical student. Clinical data should be corroborated with disease. This is not discussed at all.

The book has around 90 pages which is under no circumstances sufficient to give enough details about the subject.

In addition the font should be more bold and increased to font 14.

1.0 out of 5 stars basic pathology, July 24, 2009
This is a moderate level book that in general was not useful to me. It has many discussion that one considers as feedback of data without any puprose. The discussion leads you astray and there is no way to understand the subject by just reading this book. It reproduces materials that I saw in other books of pathology. The style of writing is not user friendly and one cannot really learn by just reading this book. It has many biologic data which are useless to the understanding of the subject. In general I did not benefit from reading this book as it is all a reproduced material from other books and so I cannot recommend it for other readers. You should seek other book if you want to study pathology.

3.0 out of 5 stars review of the book by fitzpatrick dermatology, June 18, 2009
As it says, it is a really an atlas rather than a textbook. As an atlas so I think it is good but the clinical synopsis is not well written. One cannot really learn from the discussion given in the text. The etiology of each disease in not discussed and if it is then it is not clear and is not well explained. It is relatively inexpensive so this is also an advantage but other than this there is no advantage over other books with respect to to the explanation in the text.

I am a chemist but understands medicine very well. The title of this book is bombastic. one would think it is realy biologic in nature but when I read it I was disappointed to the information given in it. I must say I did not benefit from reading it. So I cannot recommend it to others for buying this book.

This is a book which I thought it probably is not worthy of writing a review for it. It is a nonsense book and just a waste of time to read.

1.0 out of 5 stars quantum mechanics mathematics, June 14, 2009
Quantim mechanics in general requires high level of methematics such as linear algebra and differential equations. This book gives only the basics of mathematics, which probably fits high school and not a university level. If you don't know mathematics at all then you can buy it. But for those who know little mathematics then It is not recommended.

This book was not very useful to me as I am a chemist and found it not useful. The discussion is very ambiguous and is written in an unfriendly manner to the reader. I have already knowledge in this area but wanted to extend my knowledge. Unfortunately I made the wrong choice. Therefor, I cannot recommend it for other readers. If you need a text like this so this is not the one you should buy.
