3.0 out of 5 stars OK For A Bit, Then Not OK, June 22, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It works for a while, but then the foam prongs start falling off. First one or two here and there, then a bunch at one time. If that wasn't enough, there's obviously a wire skeleton, because rust has started seeping through the foam prongs. This thing has barely lasted 7 months, when the last one we had (I believe an Oxo version, which they no longer make) lasted years until it just got too dingy to keep.

3.0 out of 5 stars Always Decent, Never Great, June 16, 2016
I won this tablet in a giveaway, going on 5 years ago now. Honestly, even then it wasn't a great tablet. GPS issues, WiFi issues, easily gets bogged down if too much is open or things are running in the background (as in apps updating). Was always a bit slow too, with latency in switching between apps or even just exiting programs. It's lone strength was, really, its graphics processing was good for its time, so it knocked most games out of the park and played movies in 720p without a hitch. One other strong point was battery life (so long as the transmitters were off). The thing could go for hours of playing a game or watching movies. Still can, actually.

I still have the tablet, but it has basically been relegated to an in-flight entertainment tablet. Watch movies on it (which, actually, is probably one of its better uses at this point) and play pre-downloaded games (I am fond of chess and crosswords, which are good time sucks on a flight). That's about it. Otherwise, it lays around in the house somewhere, collecting dust.

I also won the keyboard attachment to go with it, but I can count on one hand how many times I used it. I'm of the subset of the population that thinks its silly to believe a tablet can be a PC replacement. So, it's rarely been used as such.

I was happy to win it when I did, but I really did not use it as it probably could have been optimized. It did reaffirm that I am not really a 'tablet' type of person, so it has saved me some money over the years in that sense.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Great, Not Terrible. Just Meh Softball Socks, May 27, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: TCK Digital Camo OTC Socks (Misc.)
Bought these for softball, wear a men's 11. I do have muscular/large calves, but these socks are starting to pull/rip at the seem running up the sides (where the black in front meets the pattern in back) after being worn just 9 times. Still together, but not sure these will last another season. They do offer some cushion in the foot (not as thin as a soccer sock), but it actually fits relatively loosely in the foot, so the arch support bands don't do much. Also, since it is a looser fit, the socks do rub some in the shoe (around the toes especially). No blister yet, but still doesn't feel nice.

Overall, just an OK for these. Will let the pair I have fail, and then probably won't buy again.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, Not Universal, May 18, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These do what they need to, but they are far from universal. If you get any wide-lipped bottles (i.e., Trillium bottles) these won't fit. Granted they work on most bombers, but with a caveat to consider. IMO, better of just getting silicone wine stoppers.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great Idea, But A Bit Impractical, May 18, 2016

In short, great for general cleaning and not rusting.

Not good for scrubbing. Takes some elbow grease to work on stains, and even then may not get the job done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good Superman T, May 18, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Pretty good t-shirt. Doesn't have that 'athletic fit' that I usually like in t-shirts. I ordered an XL, and its a bit more flowy than I'd like (5'10, 210, and generous in the gut-area), and the sleeves flare our a bit. But, the collar is at least a smaller profile and fits tightly (unlike your a-typical Hanes shirt where the collar is 2 inches thick and was made to fit over the head of Andre The Giant). It is a good quality shirt though.

Oh, and the 'S' shield is a lot larger than pictured, and the colors are less muted while the detail stands out a bit more. Not necessarily bad, but I'd prefer what's pictured.

3.0 out of 5 stars Measurements Appear Off, Pictures Misleading, May 18, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This feeder system probably works well, but not for my dogs. My dogs fit within the 'measurements' indicated (granted, they are on the low end of the size scale...Boston Terriers), but the feeder is quite large for them. It's so large that they wouldn't be able to reach the back of the bowl if all their food got pushed there. The pictures don't show this, but there is a good 1-2 inch gap between the edge of the feeder and where the bowl is, so if your dog is tall but has a shorter neck, these won't work. But, the smaller sized feeder looks like it would be quite low to the ground, making my dogs have to reach their neck down quite a bit to eat. Definitely think neither feeders would be ideal, but can't keep these due to the aforementioned issue.

I didn't include this in my rating, but annoyed with the company too. Asked to return the two I ordered, literally, a day after I received them (never used, aside from just having my dog walk up to one of them...the other box wasn't even opened), and the company wants me to pay for the return shipping. So, to ship back two feeders that cost me $60, I'll have to pay $30-40? Makes no damn sense, and is a ridiculous policy. Looks like I'll be donating them to my vet instead, and never purchasing a Neater Feeder product ever again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Wouldn't Buy These Again If You Paid Me, May 3, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
These things are terrible. I had a feeling that review stuffing was going on a lot more on Amazon, but this proves it.

These things BARELY hold back the heat of a cooling cookie sheet, let alone one that recently came out of the oven. Grab anything straight out of the oven or on the cook top and be prepared to find a place to put it down very quickly. I tried grabbing a cast iron pan that was on an open-hood grill, and it was as though I had grabbed it with a bare hand (aside from the nasty burn). I had to go find a pot holder to use with the glove, and even then I felt the heat.

The only good use for these is handling grilled meat without utensils. The food won't get that hot, so go nuts flipping burgers or turning hot dogs. Heck, grab the rack of ribs and manipulate them as you see fit. These are silicone, so you can literally just toss them in the dishwasher or rinse them in the sink.

However, if you intend to use them for their intended purpose, you will be disappointed.

Moen 7545W Camerist Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Pullout Spout, Glacier
Moen 7545W Camerist Single Handle Kitchen Faucet with Pullout Spout, Glacier
Price: $205.55

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Replacement Faucet, April 24, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This faucet works well and looks nice. Operation is quite smooth, and after removing the flow regulator, everything is great. It is a good, sturdy product and the plastic sprayer is barely noticeable compared to the rest of the faucet.

The hardest part about the install was actually the removal of the old faucet (it had pressure clamps on the connections, which mad it difficult to remove via the hole in the sink). However, we did run into a few install issues with the new faucet that were pretty disappointing.

First, the water hoses are a bit small. Not short, but small circumference-wise. So, the connectors that came with the hose weren't large enough to fit onto the threads on the water feed lines. After sending my wife to one of the most unhelpful Ace Hardware Stores in the country (where the employees proceeded to tell her that she didn't know what she was talking about, as it 'all should fit'), I ran to Home Depot, and immediately after telling an employee the brand of faucet, he knew exactly what I needed (saying its a typical issue with Moen). What's sad is that if this is a known install issue, why doesn't Moen include the extra size converter pieces with the faucet? Slightly disappointing.

Finally, the weight that came with the faucet to help retract the hose isn't suitable. There was barely any pull on the hose when it was extended. So, we simply piggy-backed the weight from the old faucet (which was a couple ounces heavier than the new one, but was too small to fit on the new hose) onto the new weight with a zip tie. Now, it works great. Won't 'auto-retract' the hose at all, but it will definitely keep it in place.

Overall, we've been pleased through the first few weeks with the faucet.

As an FYI for the DIY crew, the instructions don't recommend this at all, but as with all plumbing, you should use some silicone plumbers tape on all threads. Will definitely save the frustration over those slow leaks that can pop up, even just due to one thread imperfection.

Louisville Slugger Slow Pitch Z-4000 ASA Balanced Bat, 34-Inch/27-Ounce
Louisville Slugger Slow Pitch Z-4000 ASA Balanced Bat, 34-Inch/27-Ounce
Offered by Grizzly River Sports

4.0 out of 5 stars A Very Solid Balanced Bat, April 6, 2016
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Been using the bat for about 4 games now. It handles well, and is well balanced. It basically plays to the strength of the batter, so don't expect it to turn a gap hitter to a slugger. About 5 guys on my team use this bat (none of them power guys) and they all love it, including me. I will say one caveat that all of us have noticed is that if you don't hit the bat in the sweet spot it loses a lot of its oomph. Most bats will still perform well outside of the sweet spot, but this bat definitely has a drop off. Overall all though, this is a nice bat. I got mine months ago for around $180. $200 plus though would make me look elsewhere, TBH.

EDIT: After the first full 10 game season with this bat, it definitely continued on as a team bat. However, the power guys didn't touch it, which I understood. This is not the bat to pick up and expect to hit HRs (at 27oz, most thought it to be too lite, and I admit I'd go 28 if I bought it again). The 'sweet spot' issue was a bit more pronounced as time went on too, but still didn't stop half the team from using the bat regularly (keep balls in the 'UISVI' area and you'll be good...outside of that and YMMV). And, as the league switched to the 'squish' balls this season, the balls don't come screaming off this bat. They have some speed and find the holes/gaps, but nothing noteworthy. Don't think its because of the 'pop' of the bat, but more attributed to the bouncier balls. And finally, the 'sandy' coating on the bat is decidedly a marketing ploy, as most of the coating is worn off at this point and it doesn't seem to have ever made a difference in ball spin off the bat.
Did have a problem with the bat. Last game of the season, noticed some torque at the 3 piece joint. Twist the handle with a bit of force and it would slightly move at the joint. No bueno. Sending it back to LS, per the 1 year warranty, for a replacement. Hope it doesn't become a recurring problem after moderate use.
