I purchased this battery on January 8, 2014, received it quickly, and it worked just fine, UNTIL.... on June 4, 2014, quite without warning, it died. Completely. Utterly. Definitively. And, of course, it waited until after Amazon's "A to Z Guarantee" ran out, so now I'm stuck with a paperweight. I will not be purchasing another.

This printer sucks. Sure the printer is inexpensive--and prints great pictures...when it works. Problem is that, without warning, it will stop recognizing ink cartridges (even though they're new GENUINE Epson cartridges!). ALSO the printer nozzles keep clogging. You'll be printing along happily and BAM! black will clog up and stop printing. So, you'll give the printer nozzles a cleaning. Once that's done you'll run the nozzle check to see if everything is hunky dory only to find (SURPRISE!) that not only does black STILL not print, but neither does photo-black! WTF? So, you run the nozzle cleaner again, then print the nozzle check AND NOW YELLOW HAS ALSO STOPPED PRINTING!!!!!.... And if you repeat the previous steps? It's likely that either Cyan or Magenta will have joined Black, Yellow, and Photoblack in the non-printing arena. NOW, if you're one of the lucky ones and, after multiple nozzle cleanings, the printer suddenly begins printing perfectly again, you're going to find out that ALL of your PREVIOUSLY FULL ink cartridges are now NEARLY EMPTY!!!!!........WHERE DOES ALL THE INK GO???? So now you have to go off and buy some more CRIMINALLY EXPENSIVE Epson ink only to have the cycle repeat itself in another month or two! Thank you, Epson! Thank you EVER so much!.....PS: And if you ask Epson to replace your BRAND-NEW printer while it's under warranty--they'll tell you right up front that you MIGHT get a NEW replacement printer...or...you might (read Certainly WILL) be sent a REFURBISHED PRINTER! Which means, after paying for a new printer only to find out it's crap and you need a replacement, they're going to send you a defective printer that someone else returned that they've "FIXED" just enough, so they can use it to replace the NEXT dis-satisfied customer's defective printer. It's the Circle of CRAP. Ain't it beautiful?
......................................UPDATE! UPDATE! UPDATE!...........................
Things have gotten even WORSE! I contacted Epson Customer Support and they agreed the printer was defective and promised to send a replacement with a full complement of ink cartridges as well as a prepaid return shipping label so I can return my defective printer. Wow! Great service--wouldn't you say? WRONG!!!!! They DID send me a replacement printer (BUT it was missing the DVD/CD print tray!) but they DID NOT send the ink cartridges. Not a single one! AND THEY DID NOT SEND THE PREPAID RETURN LABEL! But wait--it gets better: The replacement printer suffers from EXACTLY THE SAME PRINTING DEFECT!!! So I get back on the phone to Support and the rocket scientists I spoke to now figure the reason why the printer won't print is that I'm using bogus ink cartridges (which I am NOT) and all they'll do is send me replacement cartridges because they're sure everything will be fine if I have "genuine Epson ink cartridges." ALSO they say they'll send me a Prepaid Return Shipping Label. Great! WRONG! They EMAIL me a PDF of the label SO I CAN PRINT IT OFF!!! I. HAVE. A. PRINTER. THAT. WON'T. PRINT. SO. THEY. EMAIL. ME. A. LABEL. THAT. I. HAVE. TO. PRINT. OFF. Of all the stupid, knuckle-headed, ignorant, bass-ackward, imbecilic things to do! Oh, and the replacement ink came---and (as I fully expected) did NOTHING to rectify the problem. I. HAVE. HAD. IT. So now I'm off on a real fool's quest: I'm getting back on the phone to Customer Support to demand my money back, and I will never again purchase another Epson product. I just wish Amazon would allow me to use the language necessary to express my outrage at the BS I've suffered trying to deal with this crappy company and their crappy product. The fact that these people are in business at all is mind-boggling

All Epson will do now is simply send me replacement inks! When I told "Don," my Epson Customer Service contact, that I wanted my money back so I could buy a new printer HE ACTED AS IF I HADN'T SAID ANYTHING! SIMPLY PRETENDED I HADN'T SAID A WORD! Just said I'd have my replacement inks in 2 to 7 business days then asked me if I was SATISFIED THAT MY CONCERNS HAD BEEN TAKEN CARE OF!!! What a crock! I guess this is the American Dream now: Start a business that supplies a defective product that forces customers to keep spending money on it and then do nothing to fix the problem and continue to rake in the cash while turning a deaf ear to the complaints of the customers that have been screwed!

OH!!!! And the really funny thing is I just found a Consumer Reports article online that touts the Epson XP-600 as a printer that THAT IS AFFORDABLE AND USES INK EFFICIENTLY and that ink costs per month ARE ONLY $20! Consumer Reports. Remember when you could trust them? Not anymore!

.........................................YET ANOTHER, ANOTHER UPDATE!!!............................
I am now on my FIFTH!!!!! replacement printer!!! Each and every replacement printer Epson has sent has has the SAME PROBLEMS! The great problem #4 had was: EVERY time I had to replace the Magenta ink cartridge it wouldn't work until I'd run the print head cleaning cycle several times. Then the Photo Black cartridge would stop working. I'd re-seat the cartridge (as tech support said I should) and nothing. Then BOTH Yellow AND Magenta would stop working so THREE cartridges would be out. Just grand. Eventually I'd manage to get all the cartridges working again. Then I'd run out of Magenta and the whole cycle would begin again.
Now I'm on my fifth "refurbished" replacement printer. So far, so good.....except....after setting it up and taking it out for a trial run--and, mind you, it's loaded with Brand-New 100% full Epson ink cartridges--it sat there and made noises for over 5 minutes before it got around to printing the photo, but the photo looked great! So I go to print a 2nd photo and the printer tells me that my previously FULL Black Ink cartridge is now NEARLY EMPTY! And all the other cartridges are down by 20%. After printing only ONE photo! There is no doubt in my mind: Epson truly, truly, truly sucks.
FUN FACT: This printer uses #273 Claria Ink and, y'know, Epson also offers double capacity ink cartridges. Great! And, of course, they cost more. But the thing is: The Double Capacity cartridges are EXACTLY THE SAME SIZE as the Regular Capacity cartridges. So what Epson is REALLY doing when you purchase Regular Capacity cartridges is Epson is selling you ink cartridges that are--in reality--HALF EMPTY! What a sweet, sweet scam.
Once again I must profess that Epson truly, truly, truly AND truly sucks. And they're laughing at us all the way to the bank. Epson: I hate you.

It is now official: Espon has sent me five, FIVE!!!! replacement printers, and each one HAS HAD THE SAME GD PROBLEMS!!! And right now they're laughing their hinders off because my warranty will expire in a month. Epson is run by illegitimate, fecal-brained, molesters of farmyard livestock!!! They have done nothing but screw me (and everyone unfortunate enough to purchase this product) over time and again! They know this product is a piece of crap--and they do NOTHING to correct its faults. They say their replacement units have been refurbished. I believe they are not. They simply grab one off the discard pile, shove it in a box, and send it on to the next sucker. And if it still doesn't work, why should they care? If someone complains, so what? They have warehouses of defective units to send out as 'replacements.'
I will never purchase another Epson product. They need to be sued. They need to be held accountable for treating consumers so badly.

I purchased this item because I had it on good authority that it included a batch processor. SURPRISE! It doesn't! Neither does it include the audio compressor I was led to expect. I was also interested in the (supposedly included) iZotope Audio Enhancer plug-in. I've downloaded it twice now and (SURPRISE! again) it won't install on my computer even though it says it has! Neither does it ever prompt me to enter the activation code for the plug-in. Also, apparently other items I was lead to believe were included with this software are ONLY available on the frelling PRO editions!!! FANTASTIC! Let's hear it for truth in advertising! Thanks a lot Sony! I am sick to death of being screwed over by half-truths and outright lies. If things do not shake out favorably in the next day or two I WILL be returning this.

I was really looking forward to viewing this item when it arrived. And it looks like a fun movie, and the video quality is great! But, once AGAIN (just like another item I recently purchased through Amazon)! despite Amazon's assertion that this item DOES feature English subtitles... it DOESN'T. It would be nice if Amazon exerted some measure of quality control regarding the product details. If buyers can't trust the product descriptions, then why buy?
UPDATE 1/27/14:
Nearly TWO YEARS LATER and the product details STILL list that this item includes ENGLISH SUBTITLES when it DOESN'T! This film has NEVER been released (on VHS, Laserdisc, VCD, DVD, Streaming, or in any other form) with English Subtitles!

I was really looking forward to viewing this item when it arrived. And it looks like a fun/cheesy movie, but.... I do agree with the other reveiws in that the video clarity is very bad. The transfer is obviously from a very low-quality VHS tape. What really ruined it though was the lack of subtitles--despite Amazon's assertion that the item IS subtitled. It would be nice if Amazon exerted some measure of quality control regarding the product details.
UPDATE 3/1/14: Nearly 2 years later and this item STILL erroneously states that it features subtitles in English. I have contacted several Amazon sellers who offer this title asking if it features subtitles. The answer I get back: "I don't know. I'm just going by what the Amazon description says." Great. Just great.

After all these years I've finally seen Galaxina--and it certainly has it's moments--some cute ideas, some good lines, halfway decent effects, and Ms. Stratton certainly was beautiful. But over the years I've heard so many glowing reviews of this film, how wonderful/sexy/etc. Dorothy Stratton was in it that, in contrast to all the hype I'd heard, I found it to be rather pedestrian. Some I'd talked to made it sound like a non-stop softcore porn orgy on the order of Flesh Gordon (what were _they_ watching?) rather than the mild-mannered fare it is. Still and all I did enjoy it. I think Mill Creek did the best they could with the print they had. It looks great for its age (obviously no one really took great care of the original elements). The Crater Lake Monster is one I'd seen at the drive-in way back when it came out. It was a guilty pleasure then & still is today. In terms of good goofy fun I place it right up there with The Giant Spider Invasion. I do love me some cheesy stop-motion dinosaur-rampage flicks--especially when the effects are provided by Dave Allen, Randall Cook, Phil Tippett & Jim Danforth! The film transfer looks great! I don't know about the folks who complained of problems with over-compression and pixilation artifacts, but the disc I received was sharp throughout. It is a bare-bones disc but I found it to be worth every penny. My opinion of the movies is: 3 stars for Galaxina. 4 stars for The Crater Lake Monster. And for the overall package: 4 stars.
