This review is from: Ameriwood Night Stand, Black Ebony
The item shipped without the panel ("J" in the instructions) that covers the back and gives the entire thing any stability. I wasn't able to get a replacement and was extremely disappointed with this purchase as the night stand is completely unusable and doesn't stand up without the missing panel. I got it together with nails in the top (ended up splitting part of the plywood, of course), and now it's up but wobbly, unstable and crappy looking like something you'd get out of the trash.

I don't know if they're all shipping with the missing panel like that, but if they are, it's a total rip off.

An enduring classic of action and science fiction. Still able to show how revolutionary, engaging and well done it was at the time, even now. One of my favorites and one of the best films Hollywood ever produced.

5.0 out of 5 stars An unpralleled level of perfectly delivered and constructed written thought in hip-hop:, June 15, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is the album Canibus was put on the planet to make, but never had a sufficient enough state of alarm in the world to draw inspiration from, and truly focus the menagerie of his mind upon. It's the most topically cohesive, palatable and headily conscious he's ever been for an entire album. Having a unified base of production and engineering from a single visionary makes it all work together in perfect, coalescing, high-tech harmony. Nobody else raps like this and nobody else will. A younger Canibus might ask compelling questions and never get to present the answers, while the wizened mind on display here assumes that his fanbase already know the answers, and compresses these trains of thought into mind bogglingly dense articulation... more fantastic and verbose than anything you'd ever find in passing conversations or pointed editorial.

Fans who appreciate the artist for his unique perspective will love this culmination of all his stylistic facets, and those who simply enjoy a combination of intellectual discourse and unapologetic, raw machismo in their hip-hop will find what they've been missing here.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a fun 3D Platformer, March 16, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I got this for my Vita when it released and it hooked me instantly. I nearly platinum'd it and had a blast collecting all the bottles, treasures, and emblems in every world.

Great music, responsive controls, wonderful voice acting and humor, memorable characters. Gameplay in Sly is like a great stop-gap between Jak & Dexter and Assassin's Creed. The game is cartoonish and beautiful, probably the best looking one on Vita so far (February 2012) and I'm glad I got it for my Vita.

The only difference between the Vita and PS3 version is that the PS3 version opts for cel shading like Jet Set Radio/Okami/Viewtiful Joe that's really sharp on the TV, and the Vita version uses orthodox texture work. Still a very colorful game and absolutely everything else about the game is 100% faithful. I prefer to play anything I can on my Vita but if you have both versions you can transfer your save between them, through the cloud, with the touch of a button. It's quick and painless.

I bought the physical, retail release of the game from Amazon because I like to collect good Vita games and I get to use all my 32GB memory card space on PSN titles that are download-only, as well as PSP and PSOne games.

If you know you're going to drink a lot of tea, then it's a perfectly reasonable investment to get a kettle that will last, all stainless steel, stylish and more comfortable to use.

The cork is a little flimsier seeming than I thought it would be from pictures and video reviews, I'd maybe prefer bamboo, but after a day or so of using it, I didn't care and felt good about my purchase.

5.0 out of 5 stars A very smart game!, December 23, 2012

Ingenious fun, wonderful presentation. Vita's most underrated game. As you play every day (or not), trying to carefully and quickly flex your brain power in a mini-game regiment you'll unlock some of them to play outside of the main event. Some of the games are just so cool, especially the logic games.

5.0 out of 5 stars Small and spacious!, December 23, 2012

If you plan to buy a lot of physical retail games for the Vita, this is the way to go. Why buy physical media? Vita games come on an SD card so they're very small and still immensely portable. If you're buying digitally, some games run up to 3.2GB, even a 32 GB memory card can't hold everything and you are permanently stuck with the game if it turns out to be a stinker.

I invested a lot in my Vita because I love it, and picked up a lot of nice, functional accessories. Only 8 & 16 card cases are available in the US and that wasn't enough for me. This case is still extremely small, about the thickness of two Vita game cases put together, and doesn't feel cumbersome in the slightest. It's protective, easy to use, and games snap in and out it easier than they do in the official 8-game card case.

4.0 out of 5 stars Suits my needs, June 5, 2012

I travel a lot, and the Playstation Vita is intended to be something I can throw in a bag and take anywhere. If, like me, you're still planning on buying your games on physical media when given the opportunity and don't like to leave with only 1 game, these official card cases will cleanly, securely, and efficiently carry 8 games. That's enough for a nice-sized collection of games, and even a couple will barely put a dent in your pocket or baggage space.

Inserting and removing games is easy and painless. The case does also carry two memory cards, which are tougher to get in and out. I have a 32GB card that I replaced my 8GB card with, so I'm never switching them and the case simply protects my back-up memory card, and keeps me from losing the poor, tiny thing.

If combined with a carrying case, such as the nice First Edition Bundle case, or similarly styled zipper cases, a couple of these cases can easily fit inside depending on whether you're carrying your plug and other such bulk.

So far this is the best option I've found for pocket-sized transportation of several games, but if you only want to carry 3 to 5 games at a time, you may be better off just finding a nice carrying case for the Vita itself that also comes with fabric-based game card slots, but so far there are no carrying cases for the Vita system that include storage space and still fit in your pocket.

If you plan on stockpiling a large library of Vita games on physical media, and want to keep them self contained, you may be better off with the import-only, Hori brand 12 & 24 card cases. There is also the Pull N Go Folio case for the Vita, which is massive, but holds a lot of game cards as well. In my opinion, transporting more than a few games outside of the house on a regular basis isn't wise, because losing around 20 games at one time would be a terrible feeling. They would be best suited for someone who likes to collect a lot of games, but doesn't like clutter in the house and keeps the cases put away.

In those regards, one of these little cases works for me and is most practical for both casual storage at home and on-the-go, short-term or long-term. They're very inexpensive, I have 3 slots left, and as more Vita games come out, and I will buy another one of these cases when I need it, without hesitation.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of last decade's true classics in your hands, anywhere, anytime, June 5, 2012
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars

The Ninja Gaiden franchise is classic, rooted most notably in some of the most beloved NES games ever made. When Ninja Gaiden reappeared decades later on the original X-Box, it was a mindblowing masterpiece that married the elegance and finesse of Tecmo's Dead or Alive fighting game series, with the then newly established Devil May Cry action/adventure style. It was like an interactive Bruce Lee and helped cement the X-Box as a cutting edge console. Even years after it's release it remained in the running for best of the genre, against the likes of Devil May Cry 3 and God of War 2.

The game was finally ported to PS3 with some additions, changes and improvements as Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Some of the new material added is of debatable worth but the visual improvements, even for one of the very best looking X-Box games, is undeniable. The game is fast, fluid, stylish, and almost infuriatingly challenging sometimes with arguably the most responsive, deepest, and intelligent action-combat in the genre. With that challenge, comes a feeling of adrenaline and satisfaction at every challenge met. If you're up to the task, this game is for you, but do no expect it to be forgiving.

As a port, I will say that the occasional pause to load in larger areas is a minor downgrade in performance, and the new touch & tilt functionality when aiming with the bow and arrow in first person mode has both pros and cons, but can be toggled off at any time. All in all, it's a supreme classic that a gamer on the go should love having on-hand at all times. Like Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, these kinds of games are rare, prerequisite additions to a complete gaming library and having such classics in handheld form on Vita's beautiful screen is surreal.
