3.0 out of 5 stars continuity errors, December 17, 2014
I loved the first book but the continuity errors between book 1 and book 2 caused me to give Blush the 3 star rating. In book 1 Sera's mom is Marina...in book 2 it's Lily. In book 1 Emilio is the name of a Russo uncle...in book 2 that's the name of Sera's cousin who tried to kill Lucy. Those are errors in like the first 3 pages of book 1's prologue versus book 2. She needs to find better beta readers

1.0 out of 5 stars can't stand a cheater, August 23, 2014
I have waited a year to write this review but this book has caused me to stop reading the Gansett Island series I am unable to get past the fact that the hero is a cheater...his hodgkins disease did not give him a free pass. Dom't care how many babies he saves...he will never be able to be a hero of a romance.

2.0 out of 5 stars Could not stand the heroine, June 16, 2012
The constant whining amd too stupid to live actions of the heroine, Natalie, makes me give this well written book only 2 stars. I have to say that I almost wished that the attempts to kill Natalie had worked because I disliked her so much. Probably the most unlikeable heroine I have ever encountered in a romantic suspense. Here's hoping that Carrie and Jase's story will be much better due to having a stronger lessTSTL heroine.

2.0 out of 5 stars ok...but the first 50% put me to sleep, October 9, 2011
and I mean literally fell asleep while reading Serpent's Kiss. As mentioned in other reviews it took a long...long...long time for Carling and Rune's story to get going - I think I was fully 200 pages into the story before I felt any of the magic of the first 2 books.

Serpent's Kiss is loaded with way too much description and not enough action.

1.0 out of 5 stars Enough mistakes already, August 4, 2011
Once again, Lora Leigh has apparently gotten away with writing a book that was never read by anyone at her publishing company.

She screws up ages, details, names & relationships to such an extent that the story is incomprehensible.

Some examples:

Clyde Ramsey - Rafe's uncle or great uncle? At one point, she says that he was the sister of Rafe's grandmother (that's who owned the ranch), then he's Rafe's mother's older brother. There is also a statement at one point about how one of his ranch hands told him about the crash that killed the 7 Callahans and the ranch hand says that "I think it's your niece." The problem with the name is that until the end of the book Rafe's grandfather's name is Marshal Roberts, but by the end of the book his grandfather's name is Dale Ramsey. Who the heck are the Ramsey's? The 3 barons are supposedly Rafferty, Corbin and Roberts. Also Clyde is apparently not married, but then at one point supposedly tells someone in town that his in-laws didn't like him either, but they loved his daughter. What daughter? What wife?

Marshal Roberts - supposedly Rafe's grandfather who when he visits Cami says that he wouldn't have let someone knowingly kill his granddaughter? It was his daughter killed in the car crash, not his granddaughter. The baby was a Corbin (Crowe's sister.)

Timeline errors:
Cami supposedly is intimatew ith Rafe for the 1st time at 21 -- but later in the story, she thinks about the fact that she was intimate with Rafe shortly after she turned 20. Then 2 months after having being intimate with Rafe at 21, she's upset about having a miscarriage and thinks about the 3 times they've been intimate over the past 3 years. WTF, she just was intimate with Rafe for the first time 2 months ago.

Then it's 3 years later and Rafe's uncle Clyde has died -- supposedly thrown from a horse and broke his neck, but later in the book he supposedly went over a cliff on the same road as the 2 generations of Cahllahans.

Then it's 18 months later and Rafe is mourning another loss of the few people who supported him. Who the heck was that? The only other person would have been Ryan Calvert and he's still alive. Apparently this is supposed to take place right after Clyde's , but it's 18 months later according to the story line.

There are just too many more errors -- I counted 78 in the entire book -- almost 3 a page. She can't keep Rafe's height correct - he's 6'3", no he's 6'2".

And where the heck did the villain come from? Never met him, never heard about him, just appears in the last 10 pages.

Not going to bother reading Lora Leigh anymore until someone actually begins editing her books.

Big Train Vanilla Bean Blended Creme Mix, 16-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 12)
Big Train Vanilla Bean Blended Creme Mix, 16-Ounce Canisters (Pack of 12)

5.0 out of 5 stars Exceptional Deal - Wonderful product, July 17, 2008
The Vanilla Bean Cream drink mix is wonderful.

You can make so many different drinks with it based on what you use to make the drink.

I've made it with milk, orange juice, pina colada juice, cranberry juice -- and every drink has been spectacular.

I've added fruit (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries) and I've added flavorings (chocolate syrup, caramel syrup, lemon extract, almond extract).

Experiment to your heart's content, because with this mix you can't seem to make a mistake.

And the value is exceptional - 12 pounds of mix for $30! I was buying the individual pouches (2.8 oz) from my local coffee shop for $1.29 each which works out to about $89 for the same amount of product. And the can allows you to adjust how much mix you use to make your drink (I happen to like using less mix than is recommended, but that's probably because I never drink it as just vanilla.)

You should buy this mix and have a party.

This top is wonderful whether worn with jeans or with a skirt.

Runs a little large but that works wonderfully with the peasant style.

Glad I bought it.

1.0 out of 5 stars SCIMMABLE READ, April 8, 2008
NOT SOMETHING I'D GO OUT OF MY WAY TO GET.

SEEMED LIKE IT COULD HAVE BEEN MORE TIGHTLY WRITTEN, AND I FOUND MYSELF SKIMMING THE BOOK ABOUT MIDWAY THROUGH (I MADE THE JOKE TO MYSELF THAT NOT ONLY WAS IT "A RESTLESS KNIGHT" BUT "A RESTLESS READER.)
