3.0 out of 5 stars Does not deliver as promised, March 20, 2015
I have now maintained this style of AquaFarm for a year now and I'm convinced it does not deliver as promised. Most solid waste sinks to the bottom and does not get lifted into the root tray for biological breakdown. I still have to disassemble the tank once a month to clean the gravel which, given the design, is awkward and messy. I've noticed that the newer style of AquaFarm has a different pump system but I'm not convinced either style works as described.

1.0 out of 5 stars Good Concept But Fatal Bugs, December 28, 2010
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
Our family owns most of the LEGO games for the PC so we've come to expect some minor tech issues but LEGO Harry Potter is ridiculously bug-ridden. I can't recommend this game because of the lack of quality control and TT's categorical refusal to issue any patches. The game was released nearly half a year ago and they don't even address the issue on their site much less offer any fixes. If you plan to play this game to completion, expect to spend at least 3 times longer than necessary due to the number of times you'll have to restart the program after encountering the many (entirely fixable if TT cared) bugs.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very good choice for a plasma screen, June 5, 2006
I've owned this model for about six weeks now. It's my first large screen TV purchase but I researched pretty thoroughly beforehand.

Pros:

1. Beautiful picture both in HD and regular signal. DVD's and even VHS tapes look good as well

2. Very competitive price. Most 50" plasmas are at least $800 more.

3. Plenty of inputs and outputs. Multiple inputs for component and composite devices plus a VGA port for PC's.

Cons:

1. Draws a lot of power. It's 450 watts but that's in line with other similar plasmas.

2. Has only a HDMI input for digital whereas many devices such as PC's and cable boxes have DVI. Requires a pricey conversion cable to use. Luckily, I think the component connection looks as good as the HDMI one.

3. Controls and menus could be more efficient. Common commands like input selection require arrowing through menus instead of just scrolling through using a single button like most TV's.

So far so good though.

3.0 out of 5 stars Season 1 mostly for avid Muppet fans only, September 14, 2005
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Muppet Show: Season 1 (DVD)
Some stand-out episodes (Peter Ustinov and Andy Williams for two) but overall a weak opening for the show. The writing, acting, and directing improved immensely in the series' later seasons. I'm buying every set to have a complete collection but can't really recommend most of this season's episodes on their own merit.

On the technical side, the remastering of both video and audio looks great and the DVD extras add a lot of value to the package.
