I'm furious. It does not work at all. There is something wrong. It just never worked properly and has stopped cooling completely. It is only three months old. I am unable to return or replace after a month. What do I do now???

5.0 out of 5 stars Magical, August 19, 2013
Bruce Holland Rogers never fails to inspire, entertain or teach. His concision with words is that of a true master. In this valuable collection lies my favorite story of all time "Dinosaur", whose symbolism speaks to the human condition. Bruce's stories have a message of truth for each of us if we will listen to his wisdom. We cannot fail to hear the truth however, because of the skill of the writing - the stories make the reader stop... feel that niggling emotion deep down...we are hearing Bruce's message about our lives... about forgetting what his (our) mother had told him (us)" (Dinosaur) and just taking joy in the playing of the game of life.

Bruce's stories convey nostalgia and humor with an intensity that rivets the reader for a day or two or three....forever... Kaye Linden

4.0 out of 5 stars amazing writing in "Under the House", April 19, 2012
This review is from: Under the House (Paperback)
I wasn't sure what was coming with this title. However, I was surprised and delighted at Mrs. Pinder's visual writing. Her words conjured up the fluidity of a shifting mind. I could "see" the scenes and get inside the characters in a close and intimate way. The portrait of a failing mind and a life lost was presented with nostalgia but not sentimentality. This is a beautiful demonstration of fine writing and a story for each of us. Kaye Linden
