3.0 out of 5 stars Not As Good As Death Wish, December 18, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This coffee is more of a shock / humor gift for someone than it is a coffee gift. I say that because this stuff is just okay. I didn't really notice that this was more effective than typical coffee.

TASTE: If you like a dark coffee, you'll like this. It's a little harsh though.

SMELL: It smells a little on the burnt side.

WAKE UP FACTOR: Mediocre compared to it's claim.

PRICE: Too high for what it is.

If you want some coffee that will really wake you up, tastes good, and are will to pay $20 a pound - BUY DEATH WISH! Death Wish is a much better coffee and REALLY wakes you up.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cheap but Comfortable, December 18, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a cheap but comfortable t-shirt. It certainly has some synthetic materials in it, but that mix makes is softer than your typical cheap cotton t-shirt.

One issue that will become apparent over time is the quality of the build. This is a THIN t-shirt. I don't doubt that it will wear out fairly fast.

Considering that this is a licensed t-shirt, looks nice, and feels nice, it's a good value at the $15 range. You'll pay much more for a Mickey t-shirt in a theme park.

4.0 out of 5 stars Bioware Did It Again!, November 18, 2014
I've logged about eight hours so far (PSN midnight with preload :) ). I came into this game with very low expectations. I loved the first Dragon Age and HATED the second one. The story in the second one was good, but the game was broken in many ways.

With this installment, Bioware (I refuse to give EA any credit for this game) managed to appease the hardcore RPG fans and the more action oriented game fans. They did this by adding the tactical view back in. They did so in a manner that allows the action fans to never use, yet allows the strategy fans the ability to pause and plan their attack.

The characters that you group up with are fun and varied. They are classic Bioware characters. They all have a story and a depth that other games lack.

The RPG fans will not be happy with the skill trees. They are not that in-depth and only allow for minor customization. If you want true focus, you still need to find a D&D game.

The graphics are excellent and the world his huge. Every time you turn around you will find something to do. In some ways there are too many things to do. You often find yourself getting distracted. It's not on the level of Skyrim in that regard, but it is close.

My one grip about this game are the cut scenes. I think they need an update to fix them. Right now I run into some serious frame rate issues that makes them skip in sections. It drives me nuts. Once those are fixed, this is a five star game. Considering I was expecting crap, I am extremely pleased.

If you own a OnePlus One and want a case that provides a decent amount of bang for the buck, this is the one. It provides a decent amount of protection to the body (not glass). It will certainly reduce the wear and tear on your phone.

I've purchased Art To Frames in a few different sizes. One thing keeps astounding me every time I get one. How they can sell this product AND ship it for the price they are charging is mind boggling. The shipping alone would cost you $20. On top of that the quality is decent. They are not the best frames in the world, but they look nice and hold up well. They also have real glass, not plastic.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Civilization Game, October 24, 2014
This is a great civilization game. Yes...Civilization! Is game is Civ V with an in depth overlay. Sadly it often feels more like an expansion or mod than it does an independent game. That being said, this is a great tweak to an excellent formula.

PROS:

Graphics: It looks better than Civ 5.
Tech: The new research layout is in depth and allows you to focus on certain abilities.
Aliens: At first I hated them. Now I kinda like them. They are unpredictable and another function to the game.
Game play: It's classic Civ V game play. It's hard to complain about that.

CONS:

Price: This game is basically a mod. Asking $40 or more for it is crazy. They did not add enough production value for that. It lacks too many things to be a game at that price level.

Polish: This game feels like it's only partly built. For example, the quests are all in text. They don't even have nice pictures or anything. That is not the only thing. This game has it's core mechanics, but with only a thing layer of paint on top. Time and again you will be reminded that you are really playing Civ V.

Overall - Civ V fans will love this game and find a lot of value in it. If you like the Civ games you will no doubt spend hundreds of hours playing this game. If you are not a Civ fan, you will want to steer away.

UPDATE 10/28
This game is proving as addictive as Civ V. It's still not worth $50 and still feels like a CIV V expansion, but there are enough tweaks to keep me playing. One nice touch is how the look of the leaders change as they continue further down the different ideological paths.

3.0 out of 5 stars Lots of Room For Improvement, October 21, 2014
A decent coffee maker with lots of room for improvement. It does K-cups, one cups, or a pot, but none of them well.

Pros

1. Flexibility - you can brew coffee by all three methods.
2. Price - This is cheap for what it is. (As long as you can get it for less than 70)
3. Size - It's not too large for what it does.
4. Programmable - Unexpected bonus at this price range.

Cons

1. Horrific plastic smell and taste. It takes forever to get rid of it. I had to run five full pots of White Vinegar and water to get rid of it.

2. One cups are horribly messy and tons of grounds make it into your coffee.
3. K-Cups are on the slow side, but not too bad.
4. You can only put in the water you want to use at that moment. You cannot fill the basin and brew whatever you want. If you want a k-cup, you have to measure out the water.

Overall this is an okay coffee maker. With some improvements it could be a great coffee maker.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worse Than the HTC Version (I didn't think that was possible), September 18, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wrote a very critical review of the HTC version of the Dot View case. It didn't fit well and was cheaply built. When I saw this case, I had hope that someone finally made a decent Dot View case.

To date, no one had made a decent Dot View case. This case is GARBAGE.

Here are the problems with this case:

1. Poor Fit - this one actually fits worse than the regular Dot View Case. It does not close. It doesn't even come close.

2. Holes are not good - I think the holes are too big. It's really hard to read the screen with this case on.

3. Not stiff enough - The case slides around while you are trying to see the image.

4. Only the front is leather - The back of the case is cheap plastic.

5. Does not line up right - The holes do not line up with the image below.

There is only one good thing I can say about this product. It's black. The HTC "Black" case is actually grey.

Overall, this case is a total waste of money. The terrible HTC version is better than this case.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Value, September 17, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I have to say that this product barely hits four stars. It's a decent product, that hits four stars on value.

PROS
Cheap
Stays out of the way and fits nicely around your neck.
Magnets keep the ear buds in place.
Easy to setup

CONS
Borderline bad sound.

Yes, these do not sound good. Then again I'm using them in a situation where it's going to take a lot of abuse. That being said, I don't mind if they don't sound amazing. Most of the bluetooth headsets that sound amazing, cost an arm and a leg. That would keep me from using them while hiking.

2.0 out of 5 stars Stay With The Sims 3 For Another Year, September 5, 2014
I'll start with a blunt statement. The Sims 4 has the least content of any Sims game at the time of launch since the original.

I will warn you. If you go from the Sims 3 with no expansions, to the Sims 4, you will be stunned by how little there is to do. Some of the expansions for the Sims 3 have far more content than the Sims 4 does.

I'll try and give a quick list of the issues:

No Pools
No Cars
No Open World (you jump from lot to lot)
Tiny Worlds (Apparently they saw nothing wrong with the tiny SimCIty maps)
Severe lack of places to go.
Limited Skills
Limited Jobs
Too Few Traits
Floating Roofs
Crashes more often than a hammered Lindsey Lohan on a go-cart track.
Bugs
Bugs
Bugs
Bugs

Okay the good things:
Moods are okay
Multitasking is a nice add on
Parts for upgrades has potential
Looks great
When it doesn't crash, or kick a bug, it's runs okay.

Overall it feels like I paid $60 for a demo. No, a demo would be functional. I paid $60 for a BETA Demo.

*** UPDATE ****

The 9/11/14 update of the game made it much more stable. The update before that, took away the demon babies. The game is now playable. I'm not adding anymore stars. The game still lacks an enormous amount of content. Even though one of the updates added a few items, it's still no where close to a good value.
