4.0 out of 5 stars Not a Frame Lock, but a Good Knife Nevertheless, August 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a fantastic knife for the money, but it is a liner lock rather than a frame lock. Kershaw makes a true frame lock, but this isn't it. It is mis-described in the description of the item, though the photos correctly show the liner lock knife you will get.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent product, April 15, 2014

This review is from: Amazon Fire TV (Electronics)
This is the best of the media-streaming devices. I've used most of them, and I prefer the ease of use of the Fire TV to the other brands. The voice search works well, too, and the library is very good.

1.0 out of 5 stars Avoid both ATL Warehouse & Keurig 2700, January 20, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This device was a Christmas present for my wife, purchased from ATL Warehouse just before Christmas. I asked to return it well within 30 days after Christmas, but ATL Warehouse declined because the purchase was more than 30-days old, which is of course true of virtually every Christmas purchase. Bah humbug!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars Ummm...dont' put the killer on the cover..., June 16, 2013
This review is from: Crush (DVD)
In a movie intended to keep the audience guessing who the killer is until the end, putting her photo on the box cover really lessens the suspense. I guess the box graphics people don't talk with the plot people!

1.0 out of 5 stars Buyer Beware: This isn't the actual item for sale., May 23, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Music Hall MMF 5.1 (Electronics)
I was robbed on this transaction. This item has the old Goldring 1012 cartridge ($225) rather than the current-spec Magic Hall Magic 3 Mojo Cartridge ($350). There may be other differences, but this is the one that's indefensible. The price I paid is the full price available anywhere on the internet for the current version. The item I received (the older model) is going for $175 less everywhere. I essentially paid full price for a 2013 Lexus and got a 2011 model.

1.0 out of 5 stars Worst e-Reader Ever Created, March 14, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I bought this top-of-the-line tablet / e-Reader to supplement another similar device by another manufacturer (the most popular one on the planet), and this device is inferior in every way. I've tried desperately to love it, but it's the slowest, most incompatible web-surfer money can buy combined with the worst e-reader the world has ever seen. I would be delighted to get half my money back.

As an aside, the Kindle Paper White is the best e-Reader money can buy!

2.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, Large, but Mostly Works, January 4, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This item mostly works to charge the Rx100 battery, but it is designed to accomodate several batteries, so it doesn't fit any of them snugly. It's a little haphazard whether the battery will seat correctly and the "guides" for seating the battery aren't designed particularly well. It is also the largest portable charger I have ever seen or used, so portability is also poor. Thankfully, the prongs do fold in, so it is "square" and that helps. In my opinion, this is a $9.99 item -- certainly not worth more than $20.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, but Crude by Comparison to Kindle Lighted Covers, March 1, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This light is acceptable, but it's a watch-battery powered light bolted on to the back of a leather-ish cover. Accordingly, it more than doubles the thickness of the Nook for carrying. I would imagine the batteries won't last long and will be quite expensive, but this is the best option there is for the Nook. The Kindle is light-years more elegant in this regard with the light being powered by the device itself, and adds very little to the thickness of the Kindle.

I can't do without a light, and this one works, but it's not a very good design by comparison to the Kindle version. In any event, it's the best product there is for the Nook Touch, so I'd say buy it.

It would be nice if the specs listed the battery size, so you'd know what to stock up on and how much they are.

1.0 out of 5 stars Really Bad Product, January 10, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This item looks nice, but it really doesn't work as a lamp -- it's more decorative than functional. The edges are razor-sharp because they are as thin as paper, and the top requires Olympian strength to screw in an out. Similarly, the glass is paper thin and broke the first time it was shipped to me. I wanted a lamp that was better than the $5 one from the local big-box retailer, but this one is of similar quality. Actually, it is less functional but prettier than a $5 one locally.
