This book didn't live up to my expectations. I didn't think that the characters were well developed and the story just seemed really contrived to me. In hindsight, I would pass on this book.

1.0 out of 5 stars Garbage, February 3, 2013
This review is from: Heavenly Bodies [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I saw this move for free at a preview before it was released and I was angry that I wasted 90 minutes on this trash. Idiotic, nonsensical, and just pure junk. This has to be one of the worst movies ever created. The master film should be burned so that nobody could make the mistake of airing it in public ever again.

The display is good and it's fairly easy to put together and install. However, we can't seem to get the rain gauge to work and the wind direction and speed sensors don't work. Haven't yet contacted the company but I will.

Good book and it will open your eyes as to how one well-placed nuke (that is detonated above the US) could bring the entire country to its knees.

5.0 out of 5 stars Seems Like a Quality Product, December 23, 2012

I've had the case for a couple of months and, thankfully, I haven't dropped my phone or otherwise needed to "use" the case. It seems solid and yet doesn't add a lot of weight to the phone. Has a nice feel to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works Well, December 23, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've had the screen protector for a couple of months and, so far, it's working well. It is sensitive enough so that it doesn't feel as if there is anything covering the actual screen yet it's protecting the screen. Not inexpensive but a good product.

The portfolio is good quality and the leather is very soft. It makes a very nice impression. I've only used it a couple of times but, so far so good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Read, January 11, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
An interesting read that provides some insight into what it takes to become a "real" orthopedic surgeon. I would've preferred a little less "family" info and a little more medical info but it's a good book for anyone who would like to learn about the training involved to become a surgeon.

4.0 out of 5 stars Interesting Read, January 6, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
An interesting read with lots of info about Johnny Olson's life and career. I thought that there was a little too much detail regarding the history of early radio and tv. I purchased the book to learn about Johnny Olson and not to become an expert in early radio/tv. Overall, an interesting book about a very well-known (but often not seen) voice in 20th Century television. It's hard to believe that Johnny Olson died almost 25 years ago. He was truly gifted with an incredible voice and the ability to communicate effectively with audiences. I actually had the privilege of seeing him (and his well-known audience warm-up "show") many times as a teenager at Television City at Match Game '7X tapings. As described in the book, he really was an expert at preparing an audience for a show.
