3.0 out of 5 stars You get what you pay for, June 21, 2014
The lens is good. Thats about all. I had two very different experiences with it. First, no tripod, low light and at the full 300mm the images were NEVER tack sharp. Even with the VC and scaling the mm back I never got tack sharp images. The lens just couldn't keep up. Very disappointing.
The second experience was with a monopod, and very sunny day. Images came out pretty sharp even though at 300mm you can still tell its not a $1000 piece of glass.

5.0 out of 5 stars so good, July 4, 2011
I replaced my old (6 years) britta for the Clear 2O because of the consumer reports article I read. Said it was the best water filter on the market. And for the price how could i resist trying it?! Its extremely fast to fill up and the water taste great. Slightly better tasting than my britta. HIGHLY recommend on buying the hose extension!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Interview format is not clever..., June 30, 2011
This review is from: Robopocalypse: A Novel (Hardcover)
World War Z did something with the fiction novel that i didn't think would be possible. It made "transcripted" interviews seem interesting. I give all credit to its author. The author of "Robo..",on the other hand, does not have this talent. All the interviews sound like they are coming from the same person. Not only that but I kept saying, "people don't talk like that". No one reiterates a story and describes the smell in the air, or the way this or that person wore their hair. It all comes across far to narrative like. Instead of copying a proven technic perhaps "Robo..." would have been better served being a flashback narrative.

5.0 out of 5 stars Its worth it, March 1, 2011
The only negative to this product is the priceline, and if you have more than one person using it. But for the price it works! So that is a huge plus. We saw results within 30 days, which I can not say when it comes to other facial products. It will be hard to stop using once you have started. The acne seems to come right back as soon as we stop using it. UGH!

5.0 out of 5 stars 4 1/2 out of 5!!, April 1, 2010
Outstanding vacuum for the price!! I have a $400 vacuum that is no use against all this pet hair. Well this vacuum, some how, picks it up. The only negatives I can mention...its loud, and the bag fills up kinda quick. So buy extra during checkout. Other than that how can you beat this!?!

4.0 out of 5 stars Under my head, December 31, 2009
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is an outstanding summer read! (Period) Many reviews talk about how the book was disappointing, yet they couldn't put it down. Does that make sense? No, this is not the best book of 2009, but its not the worst either. Highly recommend it if you are a King fan. If not..than stick with his earlier stuff.
Personally I would like to see Mr. King evolve a little more in not assaulting/attacking 'people of Faith'. Gets kinda old. Even though Jim Rennie is a wonderful character. But perhaps he can throw in there a 'intelligent, not an overt hypocrite, good' person of faith (the Pastor who doesn't believe in God does not count) in his books. Not only would this be a nice change, but it would add a terrifying and interesting angle to the story/stories. Just my humble opinion.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another One down, August 30, 2007
This review is from: The Altar and the Door (Audio CD)
If you enjoyed songs like 'What if His people prayed?', and 'We are the body.' Than you will love 'What this World Needs.' Once again Casting Crowns releases a well timed, well produced, well sung cd. With their soft core rock style (that gets me everytime) its no wonder they sell out everywhere they go. I loved this cd. Instead of being another worship band (which is not a bad thing) Casting crowns continues to challenge 'everyday Christians' to take further steps in reaching their families, friends, and God. And to do so we need to take that first step of looking at ourselves in the mirror.

5.0 out of 5 stars SO Expensive BUT..., December 2, 2005
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Great product! I have used many a skin care product and this was by far the best one. But because its so expensive i have to buy it sparingly. (Im not a high roller) I have ordered this product twice in the last year and it works right away. The problem is you really have to use them all in 30 days or the pads will dry up on you. This is dissapointing since i really dont need to use them everyday. Nonetheless this product works...if i had the money i would keep a ready supply in my cabinet.
