5.0 out of 5 stars Best Tiger Woods yet, March 16, 2007
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
The game rocks--the control is better than I expected and the graphics are decent. There's a couple of areas that need improvement, otherwise this is the best tiger woods I've played. The graphics on the other new consoles may be better but the Wii remote translates hand motion excellently. Well worth the borderline insanity caused by learning to play the game (very much like real-life golf). You'll be swearing at David Feherty like never before. Considering how quickly EA put this game out, it is fantastic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Yes yes yes, February 15, 2007
This review is from: My Daughter the Broad (Audio CD)
Amazing- it's hard to say what hasn't already been said about this album. Almost as good as Wowee Zowee or nearly anything by the JSBX or the BJM. Stands up to EVERYTHING (no joke) produced by anybody afterwards. Incredible music for the discerning fan. If you don't enjoy this disc then the problem is with YOU.

Very creative, excellent social commentary. Exceptionally hilarious. No joke, Michael Nesmith knows exactly what he is doing.

5.0 out of 5 stars for my Wii, February 1, 2007
Bought one for my Wii instead of spending $100. LOVE it. Works excellent. If you have a Wii, don't waste your money--buy this card. 5/5

4.0 out of 5 stars solid game, sweet controls, February 1, 2007
Game better than I expected, the wii remote as steering wheel is amazing. Don't rely on the reviews that panned it--the default controls make the game arguably more fun than burnout 4.

It's pretty straightforward--turn the remote left to go left and right to go right. If you're a flailing maniac and you don't have the coordination to handle the remote like a steering wheel then you may want to try another game.

The only use for the alternate control schemes is on the drift tracks, otherwise stick with the default control until you get it. Have patience (yeah, right).

Very solid racing game for Wii. Would have gotten a 5/5 but I want to see what else the Wii has in store, plus no online. 4/5

5.0 out of 5 stars bangin, January 23, 2007
Don't pay attention to the other reviews, both discs rock! They don't understand that if these discs were a live set your mind would be blown by how they get from point a to b, as opposed to just cruising along in 4th gear which is what it sounds like they want. This disc is over a year old but holds up to an excellent Sasha show I saw in November 2006. These guys are on the ball and if you want to hear the future of house this is it. BETTER than RECENT CD's by Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, John Digweed, anything put out by Renaissance. As good as Sasha's instant live Avalon June 2006. Buy it and you won't be disappointed unless you are only into peaky stuff.

5.0 out of 5 stars good stuff, January 23, 2007
It works if your dishes and glasses are coming out with a nasty, thick white film. This stuff takes it right off and keeps it off. The harder the water, the more you need it.

3.0 out of 5 stars For beginners only..., August 5, 2005
This review is from: Tranceport (Audio CD)
This CD is only for people looking for their first taste of trance. This is upfront, big build, crashing moment, pulsating type trance. This "mix" basically gives an overview of the late '90's big sound that introduces one into the world of dance music from the trance side as opposed to the house/techno/break side which is a bit deeper. The next logical step after this disc would be Sasha and John Digweed's Northern Exposure 2. N.E.2 takes "Tranceport" to the next level and beyond using many of the same songs, some with different mixes. You need to get both of the NE2 discs, however, to truly appreciate the full experience (I was lucky enough to recieve an import copy with both discs and fold-out packaging). NE2 provides the full spectrum of progressive house genres all the way from breakbeat to acid to electro to funk to house to straight-up trance. If you're going to buy "Tranceport" I highly recommend you pick up Northern Exposure 2 as well so you can see the difference between the stricly track-driven Oakenfold style to the seamless DJ "I can't tell when one track stops and the other starts" and "how many records are they playing" sequencing-driven style of Sasha and John Digweed.

5.0 out of 5 stars BUY THIS NOW!!!!, July 29, 2005
I have been looking for this disc since at least 2000 if not 1999. All three discs are simply amazing (especially if you are a fan of mid to late '90's progressive house). The only discs that come close to achieving the vibe that these discs represent are the original Sasha and John Digweed Renaissance mix and the Dave Seaman/Ian Ossia Renaissance mix (volume 4). The best part of these discs is that they present a deeper, more techno influenced sound as opposed to the largely trance-inspired renaissance mixes. The Cream Separates compliment the smoother-feeling Renaissance mixes with their rougher and harder sound. For DJ-mix junkies like myself, you simply cannot miss the opportunity to purchase these discs if available. I guarantee that when you take into account the fact that this collection inspired almost every DJ that came after it, this is in the top 3 best mixes EVER.
