2.0 out of 5 stars Good protection, but subpar in all other areas, February 28, 2012
Pros: Covers well (like all cases), fits well (like virtually all cases), and offers good protection (like most cases).

Cons: Relatively bulky, poor finish, silicon is too rubbery.

Other Thoughts: What this case does well is not at all unique or hard to come by. What it does poorly are deal breakers to me: It's bulky relative to cases like the Seidio Surface and TPU cases, and the silicon 'inner' lining is much too flexible, allowing it to pull away from the top and bottom with no effort, and it collects lint like nobody's business.

The silicon also shows remnants of the molding process (where material squeezes into the seam) all over the place.

If you're looking for a case that will allow you to drop your phone from 10 feet, I'm sure the soft silicon will allow you to get away with that a percentage point or two more of the time.

If you're just looking for something that looks good to keep your phone securely looking like new and not allowing grit and grime in, look elsewhere.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very good, inexpensive shell, February 18, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
First, the cons: the design on the back is a little garish to my eye (purely subjective, obviously) and you can see the mold lines (which is why I knocked off a star).

Now the pros: this thing fits the Epic 4G Touch perfectly and tightly, feeling like the phone itself, and the textured sides work surprisingly well improving grip.

I bought this with low expectations, and also purchased a Seidio Surface case at the same time, figuring I'd use the Seidio and keep this one as a backup. I've now switched permanently to this one and will be selling the Seidio.

4.0 out of 5 stars One of the best cases available, February 6, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The case fits perfectly, protects like a champ, and looks great (the blue is a deep navy that turns black when at an angle).

In my experience, this case's rigidity is an advantage over silicone and otherwise flexible cases/covers because when dust/dirt eventually gets between your device and the cover (and it will), the rigid case doesn't move and rub the grit against the device, whereas softer cases, with their 'give', will.

2/18/2012 Update: The case seems to be losing its solid feel. It now creaks when pressure is applied to the sides (squeezing when pressing buttons, etc), and after gently taking it off a few times, the 'lock' that holds the top and bottom pieces together is a good bit more precarious.

1.0 out of 5 stars I have no idea who at Adidas sent this design out the door..., January 28, 2011
I just ordered a pair of these because they cost nearly nothing, and guess what- I overpaid.

These shoes feel like they were designed by the same people that insisted Chinese Geisha girls mash their feet into tiny molds. These shoes goes almost to a point toward the front. There is no room for the balls of your feet. And I don't mean they're snug- I mean there is *no* room.

Most bizarre pair of shoes I've ever received. When you order off the internet, you win some and you lose some, and I lost $25 with these. They wouldn't have come close to fitting if I'd ordered size 15 (I wear a 12 in ever pair of shoes I've bought in the last 10 years).

Thanks for screwing me, Adidas. Never again.

2.0 out of 5 stars Convenient but wholly inadequate suction, January 24, 2010
It's light, it's easy to use, it's easy to empty- but that's where the good news ends. This seems to be a problem with battery operated units in general, but the suction on this thing, well, sucks.

Fine if you have virtually nothing to vacuum, but that's not my house. I have crumbs and sand and so on tracked in everywhere by two darling children, and you have to move this unit slowly and repeatedly over soiled areas or they'll remain dirty.

We have a corded vac that it virtually broken that does a better job.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not up to par with other used "mint" suppliers, August 27, 2009
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've bought a *lot* of used balls off eBay over the years, and these simply aren't up to the standard set by eBay suppliers like LostGolfBalls and others (virtually anyone with a 99.5+% positive rating has been the same in my experience).

Roughly a third of the 36 "mint" balls I bought here are either slightly yellowed, have a small scuff or two, or other such imperfections, and in every "mint" shipment I've ever bought off eBay, if there were 2 such balls in a batch of 36, it was an anomaly. It certainly won't affect the play of the ball, but these would rank as "AAA"/"Near Mint" rather than "AAAA"/"Mint" as advertised.

Make your purchasing decisions accordingly.

1.0 out of 5 stars If I bought a cable like this..., June 15, 2008
I'd have to kick my own @ss.

C'mon, people- do some reading before you spend a lot of money on something. The claims are preposterous and anyone who doesn't think so needs to take a couple more classes towared their EE.

1.0 out of 5 stars For the absolute beginner only, May 24, 2002
If you read the editorial review, terms like "all experience levels", "latest technologies", and "latest effects" are used or implied throughout. The book, however, covers only what a beginner would have learned in the first month from his/her first HTML/Javascript book.
Only the most minimal explanation is given for anything. Instead, you're constantly told to "take the tutorial at ..."- Note to author: if you write a book, include some content. Readers don't want to pay [$] for a printed list of online tutorials.
In short, there are no 'top design experts' that had any input into this book in 2002 (the pub. date). Maybe frames and nested tables were 'cutting edge' in 1997, but they're old news in 2002, and are far from what design experts would be talking about today.
If you're a beginner looking to get up to speed on a few basic design tricks, there are better, more explanatory books that you can find with a basic search. If you have any experience at all in the field, there will be nothing in here you didn't master long ago.
I had to rate this at 1 star because even if the book was misrepresented against the author's wishes (maybe she didn't mean to have it portrayed as an advanced book), it doesn't even do a good job of explaining the basics (instead referring you online as mentioned above). Sorry to be so harsh, but this book is not worth the high quality stock it's printed on.
Now excuse me- I have to go return this and get something helpful...
