Betty Crocker Recipe Card Box (Recipe Tin Boxed Sets)
Betty Crocker Recipe Card Box (Recipe Tin Boxed Sets)
by Publications International Staff
Edition: Cards

5.0 out of 5 stars Right out of Grandmas kitchen!, August 23, 2014
I bought this for my wife. It's right out of Grandmas kitchen. She loves it. This is a classic tin with some Betty Crocker recipes, dividers and blank cards for your own. There is ample room in the box for additions. I see this as something we can one day (full of recipes!) pass down to our daughter or grand daughter (with any luck). This would make a classy gift.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Dive Boot, December 31, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Great dive boot. Good fit and finish. The velcro tab keeps the zipper from sliding down which I have seen happen on other divers boots. After using dive booties for the last year I came to conclusion that I needed a legitimate dive boot. You can wear these for the day, in and out of the water. I used them during a recent oyster dive in 40 degree water and they perfomed well. Good for the shore diver needing a solid boot for the approach. The sole is fairly stiff for a dive boot but not overly so. A good investment. I will buy a second pair from SEAC if I ever manage to wear theses out.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great shoe but....a few points for consideration, December 31, 2013
Love the style of the shoe. Excellent fit and finish. Good stitching and construction. Supple leather. May want to buy a half size small to account for the leather which readily wears in. Mine were made in Brazil. Very comfortable. Unfortunately, I only got about 9 months of wear out of them before the soles wore through in the forefoot. The soles are a very soft rubber which makes for a very comfortable shoe, but also one that wears out too quickly. The cost of re-soling the shoe is as much as a new pair. If you only wear them occasionally they may work for you. If you wear them more than several times a week I would look for a better shoe.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice Shirt..., November 2, 2013
Nice shirt, fair quality as you would expect.. but not a "Real" Pendleton shirt. Not wool and it is made in China. If youre just looking for fashion and not the real deal this is a nice shirt. However, there are a lot of similar shirts out there for less.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great topcase, October 3, 2012

Had a few topcases and this one is the best. Not too heavy. Mounts solid. Decent locks. For the money you cannot beat it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Beer!, October 3, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Good beer. I have made a couple of batches so far and will make more. Great beer for the value. Using the included directions this kit makes a 6 gallon batch. I reduce the water by 1 gallon and sugar content by 1/6th to make a 5 gallon batch. This results in a beer with good/better overall body. 7-10 days in the fermenter. 2 weeks in the bottle and it's ready to drink.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great graphics but..., September 5, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Great design. Great value. Graphics are done very nicely. Gets comments often. That side its not perfect. Fit is good. The chin strap could be a bit better. It is narrow and thin. Padding in the helmet is OK. Wind screen does not seal completely from the top so this would not be a good helmet in the rain. A three season helmet. There is a signifigant gap and no seal. Aside from the few drawbacks mentioned, this is an excellent helmet for the Money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Brew, June 3, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Purchased this kit through Amazon. Great service as ushual. This is a full dried malt extract kit. Was first concerned about this but it comes through. Very tasty. Ensure to carbonate well for best results. I batch primed which didn't work great. Some were well carbonated others weren't. The well carbonated ones came out the best. Great flavor. This is a favorite and I will make more.

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Wearing Sole etc., June 3, 2012
This model is presented as an "all terrrain" shoe. It does not do well on hard surfaces due to poor adhesion of sole compounds. The problem is that the sole consists of two types of rubber that don't adhered well to one another. On the soles of my Grey MT 610s there is an alternating soft yellow (this is the sole base)compound with a harder back rubber compound adhered to the yellow in segments. The hard back rubber segments began to detach from the yellow after the first run on pavement(4mi). Off road this continued after running through some rocky patches. This would probably not be a problem on soft surfaces. Disapointing nonetheless. I had high hopes for these shoes. NB rarely fails to put out a less than quality product. I hope they get this fixed.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good brew but..., February 27, 2012
This is a good brew for the time and expense involved. That being said, the longer you ferment and bottle condition, the better it will be. I thought I had drank all of my batch when I discovered two additional bottles tucked away. They were the best and they had sat for a good three months. Give it time. If you follow the included directions you will get closer to six gallons vs the five in the Amazon description. Additionally, the included directions state to use sugar. Obviously DME/LME will work better, but you can still use plain old old sugar(I've used brown sugar and avoided any "cider" like finish). If you order the "full kit" it comes with carbonation drops and a dextrose adjunct. Save yourself the money, get this kit, use sugar and bottle condition forever...
