1.0 out of 5 stars Boring!, March 11, 2012
This review is from: Baby See N Sign Vol 1 (DVD)
I've watched 3 DVDs on baby signing - this is the most dull and boring. It consists mostly of straight-on head shots of the same woman, signing each word over and over again, with too few shots of a baby signing. It would be overwhelming for a parent just learning about signing, as it presents a great many signs instead of focusing on the most useful ones. "Sign With Your Baby"Sign with your Baby is much better presented, delightful to watch, and includes wonderful explanations and tips from Burton White.

1.0 out of 5 stars Dreadful!, March 10, 2012
I haven't seen the original version of this DVD - I hope it's as good as other reviewers have said. This one is dreadful! The silly graphics and babyish songs are very distracting and irritating. Even worse, the children look unhappy and uncomfortable - are they not shown with their parents? "Sign With Your Baby" is so much better!

5.0 out of 5 stars A must-read for all parents and parents-to-be, January 31, 2007
Why Love Matters offers an eloquent overview of the latest scientific research on attachment. The author has accomplished the formidable task of linking the concrete language of neurochemistry to the more abstract area of attachment theory. In so doing, she has greatly clarified the nature-nurture argument. Her book beautifully establishes the critical importance of close emotional attachment for optimum brain development in childhood, and one's subsequent capacity for love and trust in adulthood. Why Love Matters is an essential new work in the field of attachment.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love: the only curriculum that matters, December 11, 2005
As if channeled from the highest archangel, David Albert's new book Have Fun. Learn Stuff. Grow offers a fresh, crystal-clear look at the very essence of love and learning, and the critical importance of love for nurturing learning. Insightful, unique, and perceptive, this book is a gift for all homeschooling families and those considering it for the first time.
