5.0 out of 5 stars Exodus has risen!, July 9, 2013
Exodus Rising was everything that I hoped it would be. I fell in love with the characters in this story. Adrian and Marcelle have grown so much since the beginning, in terms of their faith and character. Exodus Rising completes the Tales of Starlight series as well as the Dragons of starlight series. Every question is answered. This story was stirring, exciting, romantic, and powerful. I related to Adrian and Marcelle so well, because I am the same age as they are. Mr. Davis' jump from young adult fiction to Adult fiction was no jump at all. I look forward to more. A must read beautiful and compelling series.

Fantastic! Scott Appleton weaves another wonderful story in this epic series. Key of Living is book 3 in The Sword of the Dragon series. As the Hemmed Land start to become uninhabitable Ilfedo must set up a search for new land to relocate his people. He puts Ombre, Caritha, and Oganna up to the task, but Ilfedo finds himself on his own quest to secure the key of living fire before the enemy gets a hold of it. If Letrias' agent gets the key of fire before Ilfedo, his sword would lose its power, and it would become just another sword, everything depends on the Key of Living Fire including the future and survival of Oganna.
Scott Appleton is a wonderful author that creates wonderful and exciting new places, he describes details so well it like you are taking the journey with the characters, and his characters are unforgettable. He is a Tolkien in the sense of his story telling and the world he's created in these books. It's refreshing to read something that's new and exciting he makes this story world all his own. If you are looking for a book with true heroism, adventure, love and self sacrifice this is the book for you! A must read series and I look forward to the next book hopefully it won't take too long!

5.0 out of 5 stars A very Courageous story that I will never forget., October 13, 2012
You must read this book series! From the Mouth of Elijah is a masterful continuation in this remarkable series. With wonderful inspiring Characters that I've loved since Dragons in our Midst, as well as new inspiring characters that are quickly taking a special place in my heart. Follow Billy, Bonnie, Matt, and Lauren on a heart wrenching journey. With Bonnie suffering, growing corruption on Earth, Earth trying to wage war on the innocent people of Second Eden, and a Disease that threatens to kill the original Anthrozils, there is never a dull moment. Mount Elijah has erupted and destroyed most of Second Eden leaving many residents of Second Eden dead or injured. Matt quickly puts his healing abilities to good use on some of the wounded victims. Meanwhile Billy and Lauren are on a search for Bonnie, with the help of Lauren's super hearing she is able to follow her mother's song. Ashley and Walter race to find a cure for the disease, as well as search for missing comrades. Lauren quickly finds a cure, but she learns that someone must give their life for the Anthrozils to survive. Will she go through with her trial by fire? Find out. You don't want to miss this!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Heart Pounding thrill ride!, October 13, 2012

A heart pounding thrill ride! Is what Noble Imposter is. In the sequel to The Cantral Chronicles. Monica finds her self on an even more dangerous mission to free the slaves of Cantral, being the only chip-less person she is able to move around undetected, but in this new chapter she has to impersonate a noble. The stakes are raised higher than ever, will she be able to bring the computers of Cantral down?
Amanda L. Davis has written a fantastic story, with believable characters. With heart stopping action and drama. This is a dystopian novel, and I don't usually read dystopian because I don't like feeling the hopelessness of the characters and all the effort the main character puts in to change things, and in the end they don't usually succeed in their mission and nothing changes. But this dystopian tale is different, it still has the hopelessness feel but that needs to be there to make it a believable story, but this author weaves in truth and there is a light at the end of this very dark tunnel that keeps me reading. This is a very good read. I enjoyed it. I look forward to the third novel with great anticipation. A must read series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Hidden secrets in the desert, September 30, 2012

The Skeleton Project file 3 Desert Storm. This one had a more serious storyline, but it was still a great short story with a little humor put in places. The story definitely builds the characters more in terms of Pershing and Minnis' relationship at work and as friends, it also helps bring out more of Pershing's character in the since that he will try to get the job done as well as protect Minnis from eminent danger. Fun quirky short story with mystery and danger.

The Skeleton Project 2. Another great short story in this series of short stories. Humorous Agents Pershing and Minnis are called on the case to uncover the mystery of giant purple creatures. With Pershing's fear of bugs and Minnis' love guns it's never a dull moment, and it ends with a twist. A great short Kindle read.

5.0 out of 5 stars "If we fail...everything...everything will be gone." Tommy Bowman, September 22, 2012

The long awaited conclusion to the Berinfell Prophecies is here. The Tide of Unmaking. We are reunited with the six Lords of Berinfell. A new evil has risen out of Vesper Crag , leading some to believe that the Spider King is still alive. Taeva the princess of Taladair has arrived in Berinfell to seek aid from the elves. With her claims of untold thousands dead at the hands of the army of the long dead Spider King. She speaks of a new enemy named Asp who had claimed to be bitten by the Spider King. More mystery It has been seven years since the six Lords fought and defeated the Spider King, and in that battle it cost them their dear friend and fellow Lord Jett Green. Will the Lords be enough to fight with just six of them or will they discover that they need a seventh Lord to stem the tide of unmaking.

I enjoyed it a lot. Mystery, good vs. evil, humor, and a little romance. A great fantasy. The end is only the beginning.

A great short story. I enjoyed the quirkiness of the Characters, as well as the supernatural cases with some rather humorous twists along the way. He also builds up mystery through the story that makes you want to continue on this path of short stories. I look forward to more from The Skeleton Project.

5.0 out of 5 stars A must read lost chapter from Eye of the Oracle, August 15, 2012
This review is from: Maiden Flight (Kindle Edition)
Bonnie is my all time favorite character, and this is a great look at Bonnie's first flight. The story is told from Gabriel's point of view. In an exciting adventure with some new friends and a twist in the end. This story is worth it. A must read, if you liked Eye of the Oracle you will like this.
