4.0 out of 5 stars I thought I was on a sheet of ice!, July 30, 2015

I had only one surprise the first time I wore them. They wouldn't grip the smooth exercise floor right out of the box. After fifteen minutes of activity they performed as expected.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not worth the time I wasted looking up class content, December 5, 2012

Although it was free, it took me close to an hour to realize that it was not even worth that much.

2.0 out of 5 stars If you want a money clip made of Titanium, don't buy this, October 6, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Titanium Smart Money Clip (Shoes)
The name and description of this product is misleading. It is made in China, and is made of stainless steel. It is not clear that there is any functional difference from the less expensive model from this company which is touted as being made of stainless steel. Amazon would be doing its customers a service by renaming the product "Overpriced, Not so Smart, Money Clip"

1.0 out of 5 stars P.T. Barnum was involved in this one!, December 26, 2011
He said: "There's a sucker born every minute"

and this device proves it. It's marketing success is also a testimonial to our worthless educational system.

IRWIN 2026851AZ Traditional Clamping Kit
IRWIN 2026851AZ Traditional Clamping Kit

4.0 out of 5 stars Great value. Too bad it is not available at this time, December 11, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This set of clamps was a great value. I have found the clamps to be of high quality. The only problem that needed to be addressed was a defective snap-ring clip that was part of the right angle clamp, (which somehow happened to be made of unhardened steel). I was able to replace it for about $0.30.

If this item ever shows up again, I will be getting a couple more of them.

1.0 out of 5 stars Who wrote this book?, December 2, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I wonder if the purported author read the galleys before printing. There appears to be a bit of confusion in units of measurement in the printed version that I received. There is reference to Ten Million KW per day of energy. I don't know what that means. Square miles instead of miles squared when referring to a square parcel with 114 miles on a side. Electric rate of cents per kilowatt. These are errors that shouldn't have been printed under the name of a competent engineer.

This is a preachy book that has as its aim the sale of "All Things Green" to the American public. That explains the endorsements from Robert Redford and Jimmy Carter printed on the back cover. Conclusions are spoon fed over and over again, but the underlying data from which one may draw those conclusions is noticeably absent.

Save your money, and just make a donation to Greenpeace.
