3.0 out of 5 stars 2 much of Jazze Pha, October 4, 2006
This review is from: Blow The Whistle (Audio CD)
Is it me, or is Jazze Pha on every other song?

Too short maintains his classic style, I just wish he had put more worthwile Collaborations,..Since when does Too short need collabos anyway? Overall, Its the typical short album, with whack producing; title song is the only worthwile listen

3.0 out of 5 stars What Happened??, October 1, 2006
This review is from: Thug Stories (Audio CD)
Seems like Bone Thugs are resorting to the trend of day- artists abandoning their original format to concentrate on making club bangers and radio play.. The sad thing is Bone Thugs's attempt to do so sux as the songs on the cd are not that good anyway. THIS is NOT the Bone Thugs we knew in Creepin Come up or E.1999. Most of the CD is full of tired R&B covers, and being a long time fan, I do not buy a Bone Thugs album to hear whats being played on the radio- I buy it to reminisce the original rap that erbody seems to avoid nowadays. With the exception of the title song- Thug Stories, The CD is unworth the money

1.0 out of 5 stars Beware!, June 23, 2006
I bought it for my Acura CL, which according to the Ipod2car's manual, the vehicle is fully compatible with it. Thats not the case as I found out after paying $100 in install fees that it wasn't. Called customer service and received the worst "customer service" ever as the guy kept yelling that the vehicle must not be compatible,...so why list it on the package ?????

These people have "techs" who sound like they have never heard of the device at all..So do your research first about compatibility.

3.0 out of 5 stars Coulda been better.., February 25, 2005
This review is from: Bone Brothers (Audio CD)
Overall the album is not bad but what's up with the Bizzie's repeating "Oh my God" in like every other song? I got no problem with the phrase itself but the whole thing is just distasteful when mixed with hardcore lyrics. I don't know if Bone is changing style or somethin coz this is not the Bone that I grew up listening to. If u want Real Bone Thugs, pick up Krayzie's Gemini, at least he is still himself.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money.., February 8, 2005
This review is from: Gemini: Good Vs Evil (Audio CD)
If u a Bone fan, then you gotta buy Gemini. Although the album has a few songs that coulda been produced better (ex. Hi-D-Ho), Krayzie still manages to bring back the original flow Bone is famous for.

Thug Mentality & Thug On Da Line were definitely better albums than this one, but its still worth the buy.

3.0 out of 5 stars Another weak release from Daz, January 26, 2005
Seems like over the past few years Daz has been concentrating on volume rather than quality, this album only follows other dissapointing albums, which suck mainly because of the lack of talented collaborations (with the exception of Nate Dogg) and weak lyrics. This only makes you realize that Daz's solo act is weak.. maybe its about time he made up with his former Dogg Pound homie, Kurupt.
If u wanna spend an hour listening to Daz proclaiming himself 'that nig** daz', again and again, then this is your album.

4.0 out of 5 stars Real Rap, January 26, 2005
This review is from: Foundation (Audio CD)
This an excellent album, a relief from the commercialized rap of today. The beats and lyrics are solid and even though Scarface outraps his fellow Geto Boys, they all come together to make the greatest release of this year so far.

3.0 out of 5 stars Ok..., November 23, 2004
I was quite impressed with the sound canceling feature; although it does not block all the noise when flying, it at least lets you hear your music unlike ordinary headphones. However, these must be one of the most uncomfortable headphones on the market today, first, the noise canceling control is inconveniently placed, with a short wire connecting it to the headphones, and therefore making it harder to stand straight up unless you place it above- not on your belt. Secondly, these headphones can hardly handle any bass without distorting, which didn't surprise me since my previous Philips headphones couldn't either.

In short, do not expect these headphones to be high quality, but for the price they are worth a purchase if you don't plan to use them everyday.

4.0 out of 5 stars Stop Hatin' on New Talent, September 29, 2004
This review is from: Guerilla City (Audio CD)
I think people should give Black credit for he'an amazing rapper. The fact that he sounds like, looks like Biggie is not enough to hold him back in the music industry. I mean the guy can't help sounding like that, I think this album is bangin for a first LP,so give him a break..he got talent

1.0 out of 5 stars Kurupt?, September 14, 2004
This review is from: Against The Grain (Audio CD)
Honestly, this album is whack, I don't know why the other reviewers seem to like it, but if you've been a fan of DPG long enough, AND has actually listened to Space Oddyssey- which I consider a classic, you would agree with me that with the expection of Homeboys, this album suffers bad production, untalented rappers featuring, not to mention Kurupt's subpar lyrical performance.
Hopefully his reunion with Daz brings better music than this
