GOTCHA THEME FROM STARSKY & HUTCH (PROMO) (45/7")
GOTCHA THEME FROM STARSKY & HUTCH (PROMO) (45/7")

5.0 out of 5 stars one slamming tv theme song, October 18, 2014
one bumping cut. i always dug the intensity and groove of this cut. back in the day in the old backyard i use to have a starsky and hutch car and this theme made it even more so cool. on the musical tip, that arangement screams big city late night with the sun roof wide open and the guitar and brass are hitting you from the sides. always dug the vamp and build up of this groove.

3.0 out of 5 stars cool album, October 16, 2014
the last album where she hit with. telephone, all of you and swept away were cool, however Missing you is the gold standard money track here. written and produced by lionel richie and whom she worked with on other projects and they were big time smashes this incredible tribute to the late Great Marvin Gaye still hits. you would have thought that Ross and Gaye were tight in real time with the lyrics and feelings of this song. not saying a word just go read books on Marvin gaye. anyway missing you is one of the best songs in diana Ross's entire catelog including supremes material as well. anyway its a cool album.

3.0 out of 5 stars its cool, October 16, 2014
this cat can play and i feel his tone and vibe, however lets not get it twisted this ain't gonna be no Frampton comes alive or Hendrix with Band of Gypys meaning nothing on here is what i call household worthy music. as a matter of fact i think if he worked with somebody who could compliment what he does then it would be something else. because he is close to something, however he ain't fully to the door yet. and i think its a bit early for a project like this. now 2-3 albums down the line and pull this off and then boom. but if he keeps on going he got a chance at turning that corner.

Still The Same

bustin' out / big time 45 rpm single

5.0 out of 5 stars still bumping, October 13, 2014
always blasting that Rick James Funk. ain't been nobody like him since that had your head bopping and kept that funk smirk on your face all day and night. this cut had the stank off the word jump. that bass line is cold. one of the baddest cuts from back in the day. this cut will slay this mess on the radio right now. turkey Programmers and Clear Channel knows it.

1.0 out of 5 stars the same ole same with this cat, October 13, 2014
This review is from: Old Boots New Dirt (Audio CD)
this cat got a formula that works for him, however there ain't alot depth in his writing or his material on a whole. basically he is like a country version of T Pain and you see where his career is these days? Country has furthered moved away and every era in country since the 90's its gotta more commerical and generic. he got his audience who is cool with it,however its so predictable.

5.0 out of 5 stars very strong and happening book, October 13, 2014
some kind of book that just takes you from one extreme to the next and leads you back and around. i just got through reading this book and i enjoyed the depth and the versatile character and its own use of timing and detail. well writing and put together and fully developed.

5.0 out of 5 stars america too greedy and stubborn to change a must read, October 9, 2014
this is a must read and this is why i feel personally that African Americans should have free education. i mean where would these institutions be without profits from slavery? and the College Campus is another Plantation which earns interest as future generation of students have to pay those off the wall prices to go. and being Black and paying for a school that profited off my ancestors is just wrong on so many levels.ivy league pimping,etc.. i mean the truth is school should be free for Black People in America considering how the deck ain't never ever been fair and a book like this lays out the hard hidden blueprint and how the reality is a ugly reminder. the country still racist to the bone and afraid to share and acknowledge the truth of White Privilege.educational system and society at large stays profiting off of that past, despite what they say.this books states the facts.
