3.0 out of 5 stars So so watch, October 12, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is a decent looking watch, but not all the functionality is there. First off, the tachymeter does not have its
own seconds hand. You have to refer to the seconds keeping normal time, which would not work properly when trying to measure speed and distance at an unexpected time. The chronograph seconds dials are very small and hard to read, and after 2 months of use the hands don't line up properly when reseting them back to zero. The dial window will also scratch if your not too careful, definitely not real crystal and seems to be plastic with some type of silicone covering. But, If your looking for a handsome piece not for constant use and for a night out on the town every now and then, this is defintely a keeper. Just a reminder, you get what you pay for.
I now opted for the Victorinox Maverick II Chronograph and loving that purchase.

This disc is excellent!! The Cars have made a great comeback album and they also dedicated it to the late great Ben Orr.
The new disc has soundwriting styles similar to their first 4 albums with
a modern enjoyable twist. Production is also excellent. Great job guys

3.0 out of 5 stars Last ditch effort to move on without Rik Emmett, February 3, 2008
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Edge of Excess (Audio CD)
The CD is not that bad. It's definitely worth a listen. The production is nice and has more of a commercial heavy metal guitar driven sound. Guitars definitely stand out along with Gil's voice. Meet new guitarist Phil X, who's not as good as Rik Emmett, but does a decent job filling in, with a sort of Zakk Wylde playing style and crunchy tone. The downside of this disc is the lack of real energy between the band members. Gil's drumming went from a busy John Bonham style of the old days, to a typical basic four four count drum playing. Unfortunately no little keyboard interludes by bassist Mike Levine either. The disc feels like they are trying their best to move on in a different direction without Rik. Overall a decent effort with the best song being " Child of the City".

Kitchenaid KSB3 3 - Speed Classic Blender ( White )
Kitchenaid KSB3 3 - Speed Classic Blender ( White )

1.0 out of 5 stars Oversized Paperweight, September 15, 2007
Stay away from this blender...It's an overgrown paperweight! The motor smells everytime when using it and cannot handle ice crushing at all. Leaves chunks of ice behind after each use and gets worse with time. We've barely used this blender and after only a handful of uses, it's true colors are now showing. I just purchased the Oster Classic Chrome Behive blender from Amazon and it totally outshines Kitchen Aid! Kitchen Aid are only good for their pastry mixers.

Wusthof Grand Prix 8-Inch Cook's Knife
Wusthof Grand Prix 8-Inch Cook's Knife
6 used & new from $50.00

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Knife!!, May 1, 2007
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Perfect balance, Super Sharp Blade and very Comfortable Grip. Perfect size for the home cook. I actually prefer the grip of this knife over the Grand Prix II, due to the fact that it feels less likely to slip with the slight curve at the end of the handle - that the Grand Prix II should have kept.

3.0 out of 5 stars Rushed Effort!, April 13, 2007
This review is from: Diver Down (Audio CD)
Before Diver Down was recorded, the band was in desparate need of a long awaited break from touring, recording and from Dave. They went none stop since 1977 without any rest. After the Fair Warning tour ended, the band recorded and released ONLY 1 song (Dancing In The Street) just to give the public a little taste, while they we're getting ready to take some much needed time off. Guess what? Dancing In The Street was an instant hit in 82 and Warner Bros pretty much ruined their vacation plans by making the band go back into studio to record a complete album asap. Diver Down was a rushed effort to catch the public's momentum of the 1 song release (which backfired the bands time off) and back on the road to support it as well. I honestly believe if they had a small break and then gone back into the studio to record, it would have had less covers and more energy. It's Eddie's least favorite recording. Still worth a purchase though.

1.0 out of 5 stars Rushed..., February 18, 2007
This review is from: Vapor Trails (Audio CD)
I have to agree with Sughosh Varadarajan. Rush at they're most desparate to be different, along with trying to fit in with all the other crappy bands that are out there now. This album is very disjointed and noisy. Songs are difficult to grasp and very unmemorable. Seems like a rushed effort. Overall not much heart of true thought really went into making this album. Hopefully the next release will be an improvement.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not a good Demi Glace, December 26, 2006
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Duck & Veal Demi-Glace - 2 packs
This brand of demi glace has no flavor and is very watery even when cooked down. A good demi glace should have lots of flavor with a syrupy consistency. A spoonful should even go along way. This one fails.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad, October 11, 2006
This review is from: Departure (Audio CD)
Ok effort, But not near as solid as Evolution and Escape. Highlights are: Any way you want it, Walks like a lady, Someday Soon - Great vocals by original keyboardist Gregg Rollie, People and Places - Great opening vocals by Guitarist Neal Schon and Line of Fire. Rest of the album seems like filler. If you're new to some of Journey's older recordings with Steve Perry, I recommend starting with the disc Evolution.
