5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy, good-looking and easy to assemble. Like me!, May 1, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This was easy for one adult to assemble in less than an hour (just be sure to match the sticker colors on the pieces). It's way sturdier and more supportive than the old frame it replaced. I kept the box spring on it to make the bed very high and firm. Love it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Really cool, April 23, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
These are great! The description states that they're 2.5" in diameter, but I didn't really picture how large and substantial they'd be until I saw them in person. The shape is tasteful, too, not cartoonish.

4.0 out of 5 stars Not too shabby, April 21, 2016

These are a good cotton material and a nice color for a spring party. They're pretty close to the image I see on my monitor. . .some of the other reviewers seem to have had a different experience.

3.0 out of 5 stars Great color and pattern for a contemporary white kitchen; not that absorbent, April 16, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
These are more like washcloths. They're soft and look very nice, but are thin and just not as absorbent as I would have liked.

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice apron, April 16, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This is a nice color and a good medium length, with a handy large front pocket. The strap is long enough for a medium-sized person to pull it around and tie it in the front. It's fairly lightweight as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars I'd call 'em napkins, but they can dry dishes too, April 15, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I was tempted to dock a star because these are fancy napkins more than they are dish towels. But they're big and somewhat absorbent, so they work both ways. The deep pink color is nice and not overly feminine. They feel like they won't fall apart any time soon, either.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent but doesn't beat the G2, April 10, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
These pens are OK. The 0.5 mm size is about as small as it gets for a gel pen, which is nice for those of us with small handwriting. The ink doesn't smear much, but there is the occasional smudge. I compared these to a G2, and the G2 roll felt slightly smoother against the paper, but that might be partially due to its larger 0.7 mm size.

The Inkjoy barrel is perfectly straight and of medium thickness. The rubberized coating runs the length of the barrel, minus a window on one side. It's thinner than the rubber sleeve on the G2, so doesn't feel quite as soft. I tend to prefer a contoured shape and a slightly thicker barrel anyway, so these won't replace the G2 for me. But they're worth a try if you think that would work for you.

5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely and a great value, April 5, 2016

This is a very cute ring. It's subtle but not invisible -- suitable for both petite and not-so-petite ladies. And it's under twenty bucks -- such a bargain!

4.0 out of 5 stars So brilliant, yet so goofy, April 5, 2016
My son was quickly addicted to this game; I held out for a while but eventually got sucked in as well.

First, the good: The run 'n' gun play is as smooth as butter on a baby's bottom. Whoever coded this should get a medal. On top of that, over hundreds of hours of play, neither of us has had a single moment of network lag or a glitch. The loading time when you're flying to a location can be annoying, but once you're there, you're there. ZERO waiting. Mechanically speaking, this game is a work of art.

Then, the bad. The game involves light RPG elements of developing skills and hundreds of weapons you can collect (many with their own skills and upgrades). Some of this is really cool. The problem is that to get most of the good stuff, you have to play a lot of PvP. And if you aren't already level 40 (the max) or close to it, you're in for a severe beating. Grind, grind, grind.

More annoyingly, it can be very hard to determine what you need to do to complete some missions. There's really no choice but to look it up in a guide or ask a sherpa (friendly online gamers who offer to help others play missions). This drives me NUTS. They could have easily replaced some of the random voiceovers (see below) with narration telling you what to do.

Now for the ugly. The utterly bizarre, in fact. They hired A-list voice talent to read the script, but apparently borrowed a family of monkeys from the local zoo to write it. I cannot overstate how nonsensical the storyline (if you can even call it that) is. For a while, I waited for an actual plot to form, but no dice. There are a bunch of different alien factions, and they fight each other sometimes, and fight you all the time. That's really all I can tell you. There's a lot of babbling about the Traveler and the Darkness and the Black Garden and the Awoken and other highfalutin'-sounding topics, but if you think any of it is going to make much sense, you're setting yourself up for disappointment.

To sum up, Destiny is a whole lot of fun and a whole lot of stupid, and requires you to grind for a while before you can really enjoy its extensive PvP features. For me, while I love a great story (the Uncharted series is my all-time favorite), the fun is the important thing. So for me, Destiny's a winner.

Gameband for Minecraft - Large

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool concept, March 23, 2016
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This is a very neat gadget. It works as advertised, although it took me a bit of fiddling to find the exact spot where the band comes apart.

My son is learning to mod the game, but is shy about sending his work around to other people. With this, he can tote his stuff to a friend's house to show off only when he wants to.

The price seems to vary a lot -- sometimes it's under fifty bucks, sometimes it's more like eighty. Try to catch it at the low ebb if you can. And don't forget; this is an accessory for the game, not the game itself. You need to buy the PC edition (not a console or mobile edition) separately.
