I like the watch. Not surprisingly, the print on the Casio instruction manual is extremely small. I'm looking for legible instructions for this watch in order to get use of its features.

4.0 out of 5 stars Common Ground?, November 18, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This book was out many months prior to the Presidential election. It outlined and discussed in short form relatively conservative concepts of addressing the many concerns which face this country. In summary, it presented ideas to help our economy grow at 4% or more. The thought being if the economy grows at that rate, much of our country's debt will be satisfied by the increased revenues of a growing and healthy economy.

4.0 out of 5 stars The Bait, November 18, 2012

Another great Nelson DeMille stoy. We follow John Corey and his wife through a mine field of danger in Yemen. They are accompanied by plotting FBI and CIA agents. Much of it is the journey, as we are acustomed to in Nelson DeMilles books as we are peppered with Corey's insight and wit. The last several chapters are filled with action and when the story is nearly over, you think, say it isn't so, I want to keep on reading. I'm looking forward to DeMilles next book.

5.0 out of 5 stars The Art of Decision Making, April 10, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The book enlightens us on the process of decision making. It divides decsion making into two types, the first, type 1, is what I call reactionary or intuitive decision making. It is based upon our associative memory. The second, type 2, is decsion making which requires effort. The book enlightens us on both and directs us to be aware when we are using the incorrect method of making a decision. It is useful is sales, management, trading and everyday life. Great book, it is going on my bookshelf.

4.0 out of 5 stars An Enlightening Read, November 7, 2011

Reading it at the rate of a chapter a day, which is only a few pages. Giving myself time to reflect upon each chapter. The book is thoroughly enlightening. I'm not planning on conversion, but there are many good thoughts.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another Good Nelson DeMille Book, November 7, 2011

This review is from: Word of Honor (Hardcover)
Another intriguing Nelson DeMille book. Great descriptions of the characters and the times during and after the Vietnam War, balancing the main character's wife, an antiwar activist and the main character, a ROTC officer. Brings actions of the the Vietnam War into focus, details of walking along the rice paddies, the weather, the actions of soldiers in firefights, and the main subject of the novel, a massacre. And then there are the surviving soldiers, the author left us with the thought that few soldiers completely survived that war. Nelson Demille was an officer in Vietnam, many of his descriptions must have come from his experiences and those of the soldiers around him. After reading his novel, you feel you have a better understanding of the war.

4.0 out of 5 stars This Time Is Different: Eight Centuries of Financial Folly, June 23, 2011

Interesting commentary on the history of economic turmoil. It was discussed on a global, regional, national and banking basis. Inflation, currency, defaults, credit cycles and asset bubbles were included in the narative. Events were expounded upon such as the 1929 crash and the relatively current subprime crisis. Different crises indicators were listed, with a short discussion of policy responses. After reading the book, I have a better understanding of those factors which lead to an economic event and also understand they will continue into the future.
