1.0 out of 5 stars Rescind the rule against soldiers., August 31, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Since when does the Doctor have a rule against soldiers? Sounds like it is a new made up "rule" by naïve wannabe politically correct producers/writers. The Doctor is not against Soldiers - Soldiers fighting the good fight against evil and soldiers standing up for justice. Isn't the Doctor a member of, or advisor to some kind of earth defense force and hasn't he had soldier companions and warrior companions in the past. Bad Form to whom ever allowed such words to come out of the Season 8 Doctor. Surely the Doctor isn't himself yet.

It may be a little dated, but it is still worth watching - One man wants justice for his dog and isn't gonna let the powers that be stop him.

2.0 out of 5 stars OK doesn't have the magic of the original, January 7, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It's an OK romantic comedy. If I hadn't seen the original may be it would have been more enjoyable - it just doesn't have the magic of the Korean version.

4.0 out of 5 stars More than met my low expectations....., September 27, 2012
More than met my low expectations for this parody of latest raunchy comedies.
If you enjoyed the movies in the title, then chances are you will get a laugh or two out of watching this
raunchy parody remix that tries to go even more of over the top than the originals.

5.0 out of 5 stars Most Bang for your Buck: HD shoulder cam with xlr inputs, February 17, 2009
Decided to look for an inexpensive shoulder mounted high definition camcorder: there are currently, as Feb. 2009 two models available. The Sony HVR-HD1000 and the Pansonic AG-HMC70 (HMC70P, HMC70PJ are NTSC models, PAL models use different numbers). After checking out online reviews by Digital Content Producer and VideoMaker, I decided to go with the Panasonic camcorder.

The shoulder models both use "professional" versions of consumer handheld cameras. So don't think that for 2 grand you are buying a camcorder that can compare to the more expensive models. The Sony records HDV compression to Mini-dv tapes V.S. the Panasonic recording in AVCHD (13Mbps highest option) to SDHC memory cards. While the HD video quality is sharper with the Sony, the Panasonic AVCHD still looks good without the blocky artifacts you sometimes see when recording motion in HDV compression. The biggest reason for me going with the HMC70 was that it had XLR inputs (use external mic instead of camera's mic), while the Sony only had mini-jack for mic input. I also wanted to use memory cards instead of tapes.

Check out online reviews for yourself before buying either camcorder.

4.0 out of 5 stars Have a Blast with Mag-Blast, November 24, 2008
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Mag-Blast 3rd Edition (Toy)
Mag-Blast is fun light wargame. Best with 2 players. You each have a fleet of various space ships which you arrange to defend your command ship. Then with the luck of cards drawn you are able to launch attacks and/or defend your fleet. The theme is comical and it's a "blast" when you are able to destroy the enemy. The games last from 10 to 30 minutes.

2.0 out of 5 stars Too Much Preaching, August 17, 2008
If you expect another "Bug Battle" - this movie delivers. But the movie goes over board with it's message that "religious" belief is for the weak minded. I just wanted an entertaining SciFi show, but got a sermon instead. Don't bother with this "message" driven movie, instead watch the first one or even the second movie, the animated series is ok - or just read the book.
