4.0 out of 5 stars Nice keyboard, December 31, 2013

Nice little keyboard for the ipad mini. Fits nicely on the mini and has a solid build. Doesn't entirely protect the back of the mini akin to other similar keyboards but otherwise a great choice.

4.0 out of 5 stars Nice Desktop, December 31, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Great little desktop. Functional for the price considering it's all in one. The touchscreen doesn't quite get utilized in a way that I would like to justify the feature but I think that gripe I can share with my windows 8 laptop as well. A little more conducive to tablets than desktops.

5.0 out of 5 stars Monster Printer, November 21, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
This this is really just a ginormous fully featured printer. It does everything I could think to do with a home printer and probably many things I have yet to discover but more importunately it does them well. Its size definitely eats some space making it a little more conducive to a sizable dedicated work space so probably not the first choice I'd recommend for a dorm or small apartment.

It seems to go through ink a little faster than I would like which seems to be a downside to more recent printers I have used. Perhaps an adjustment can be made or maybe these printers have a tendency to use ink more liberally in the name of quality.

All things considered though great printer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not super portable but good., November 21, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I'll start with the one thing I can really fault a 'mobile' printer for and that is that this isn't really all that mobile. Yes it can be charged and brought on the road but it's not something small enough to throw in a school bag or briefcase for printing on the fly. It still requires a good amount of forethought undermining some of the advantage it has.

That aside, it's a great little printer. While not fully featured, the print quality is nice, the ink seems to last quite a while, and it's fairly quick from start to finish.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Set, November 21, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
Overall this KRE-O set is more or less as satisfying as any of the prior sets I have reviewed. They're generally nice and varied, have clear instructions, and are compatible with other brands of building blocks. Where this set specifically falls short is that the movement block feels gimmicky, the mini-figs aren't the cool articulated ones found in the transformers set, and set itself kind of seems shod together with awkward pieces.

The movement of the pieces is achieved by a shaking motor that vibrates the plate everything is built on. The mini-figs, or as they call them Kreons, are then allowed to move by attaching them to smooth bases that then shimmy all over the set with vibrations. It reminds me of those old vibration football games only with less of an objective. Ultimately it just doesn't really seem to add anything to the enjoyment of the set.

The Kreons included in this set are like a slimmed down version of LEGO mini-figs. Prior sets I had seen had really cool, slightly larger figures which had several points of articulation that made them a little more interesting. These are a bit more straight forward.

The design of the set is also strange. There's a lot of stacking of lesser pieces to achieve otherwise standard piece sizes. While not a big deal it does seem to add and element of assembly/dis-assembly that seems unnecessary. Sometimes dismantling some of these composite pieces can also be difficult to actually achieve.

Outside of this kit, the app on the app store is pretty cool and purchasing qualifying Kre-O sets unlocks characters and other bonuses within the game.

3.0 out of 5 stars Okay, September 19, 2013

Pretty reasonable in their price but they leave a lot to be desired in quality. I seemed to have difficulties getting them to pair with my phone compared to the Jabra Tag headset. The sound is fairly distorted preventing it from even being a decent bluetooth headphones.

4.0 out of 5 stars Decent bluetooth headset, August 15, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
At this price point the Jabra TAG is a decent buy. This model has a nice audio intro telling you how to pair it to your device which is a nice bonus to the less tech savvy people looking to go wireless. For making calls it has adequate sound clarity and functional design for ease of use. Where it isn't so great is perhaps in some of its extended uses. The ear buds aren't all that great so it isn't a headset I'd use for sports/exercise given that I had them popping out just lounging around the house nor is it a great headset for things like music due to a pretty lackluster sound quality in that particular arena. Still, not too shabby for the price. Might be worth it to invest in a better pair for more rounded use but if you simply need a hands-free solution for a phone it's a pretty good buy.

Baxter of California Slick Pomade, 2 oz.
Baxter of California Slick Pomade, 2 oz.

5.0 out of 5 stars Quality Product, August 15, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
I've tried out this particular pomade in addition to Baxter of California Soft Water Pomade. The slick pomade is a little too greasy and heavy for my hair type but both are seemingly quality products. I prefer a light and more natural looking hair product and to that end the slick pomade weighs a little too heavy and has that classic really obvious 'wearing pomade' look to it. It does however have a nice all day hold, a fairly neutral aroma, and it doesn't take too much to get a nice even application. As far as this particular sort of pomade goes I've tried Suavecito Pomade and would have to give that the nod over Baxter's.

4.0 out of 5 stars Solar not as useful as I would have liked., August 15, 2013
Vine Customer Review of Free Product (What's this?)
All things considered this is a decent portable radio. The sound quality is commendable, it's built solid, the bluetooth works well with respectable range, and the wired options are nice bonuses. Where I thought this would be more useful was in its solar features but alas it didn't really sell me as a necessary addition to the unit. In the times I take the radio outdoors I didn't find that I was away from primary power sources long enough to drain the radio, which may lend credit to the decent battery life of the radio itself, nor did I personally take advantage of the mobile charging feature as has been the case with other similar radios/speakers. I would hazard a guess a fair number of people would arrive at a similar "sounds better on paper" sort of conclusion with their use of the radio. Where it's really going to be fully utilized is when you're really well and truly removed from all forms of power but that to me begs the question in those scenarios are you really going to be packing a fairly large 'portable' radio with you?
