5.0 out of 5 stars Dont get caught using stranded connectors on solid core wire, June 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The subject says it all...buy connectors for solid and stranded wire. Sometimes I need to crimp connectors on solid core wire, and other times it is stranded wire. "Standard" connectors don't always work on solid core wire, and I don't want to carry two different types of connectors. Buy connectors that will work with either wire type.

4.0 out of 5 stars Inital Krups vs Keurig impressions, June 3, 2014
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
We have been going through a Keurig B70 each year for the past 2 years. We decided to try a superautomatic this time, and settled on the Krups. Thus far, we have gone through a pound of beans every 5-6 days with the grinder set on medium. After 2 pounds, we brewed 110 coffee cycles with some long coffee (2 x 4oz) and some coffee (5.4oz). Our normal Keurig cycle was 10oz. Volume aside, our Keurig cups were costing $0.75 on average. 110 Keurig cups would cost $82.50. The 2 pounds of coffee in the Krups for 110 coffee cycles cost $30. The coffee from the Krups was significantly better than the Keurig coffee, in our opinion. Volume considered, we did get more oz of coffee from the Keurig, but it was weaker, and we tended to have more "leftover" coffee from the Keurig.

- we have very hard water and are using the included filter.
- the Krups unit is well documented.
- the Krups packaging is very professional.
- the setup was extensive but well guided.
- the Krups unit includes an "oily bean" accessory to help feed "sticky" beans, although we only use full city roast beans,

Time will tell if the Krups can stand up to the "1 pound per week" regimen.

2.0 out of 5 stars Hard to get past the errata, December 3, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The kindle version of this book has numerous editing errors - truncated words, incomplete chapter links, etc. The errors are so numerous that it is beyond any good samaritan's generosity to report all of the errata. I am not sure whose responsibility it is to proofread the kindle version, but the ball was dropped. It is hard to ascertain if the proofreading failures have a material impact on the technical merits of the book, but it sure doesn't bode well for the readers confidence, in the kindle or the publisher, to see so many obvious errors. Fix it or pull it.

5.0 out of 5 stars More expensive than the same items separately, September 13, 2013
These are very basic, but reliable, keyboards and mice. We have purchased many of these to replace dying Dell peripherals. As an aside, it is actually cheaper to buy the keyboard and mouse separately. You can save a whopping $.10 over the bundled price. Not sure how the bundled units do with regards to shipping over the separate units, but I am a Prime member, so I don't pay for 2-Day shipping.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works as designed, December 10, 2012

These adapters will allow you to use non-Sony AC->USB adapters to charge your PS Vita. These are much more convenient than carrying around a modified cable.

5.0 out of 5 stars So far so good - easy setup, works well, September 19, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The WN3000RP is a basic wifi range extender that is easy to setup and works well. By their nature, range extenders can be a little bit more involved to setup than an access point. Be especailly careful if you are using any sort of MAC based filtering or MAC based IP addressing (i.e. DHCP reservations) in your network. The WN3000RP acts as a MAC proxy that will generate a virtual MAC address that it will hand off to the wireless network it is extending. In my case, the WN3000RP would add 0x02 to the first octet of the real MAC to create the virtual MAC address. You can also look at the original and virtual MACs on the extenders web page if your base16 math is sketchy. Bottom line, if all else seeems to be setup correctly but you are not getting an IP address ("Limited connectivity"), check your MAC address usage.

3.0 out of 5 stars Nice camera, but wrong item in box. Reseller opens the boxes., August 1, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
While I ordered the FI8918E, a FI8918W came in the box. It is a nice, solid looking camera, with a decent mounting bracket and included mounting hardware. It also includes an ethernet cable and power adapter. Unfortunately, it was not what I ordered. How could this happen? Easy! The reseller opens the boxes, unpacks the cameras, and puts their gratuitous advertising sticker on the camera! They must have put the wrong camera back into the box. Make sure to avoid IP Cam Central if you want to get a box that hasnt been opened.

1.0 out of 5 stars 5GHz with firmware 1.21 unusable, October 18, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
When using the DAP-2553 in 5GHz mode WMM with firmware 1.21, the unit constantly disconnects and locks up, especially under heavy load. Without WMM, the disconnects and hangs still occur, but less frequently. The only way to revive the WAP is to cycle the power. Firmware 1.21 fixed a vulnerability, so it is not possible to safely move back to a previous version. I would recommend that users looking for a 5GHz WAP pass on this one until DLiknk is able to get the bugs fixed. There is an active thread on the DLink support forums that verifies that this is more than just an isolated failure.

1.0 out of 5 stars Don't be deceived, December 6, 2005
= Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:3.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: LEGO Creator: Large Bucket (Toy)
While the description for this product states that it is the 50th Anniversary Bucket, it is in fact just a plain old bucket of LEGOs.

The Anniversary bucket should be black with a gold top and say 50th Anniversary on the side. The #4105 bucket you will receive is just a plain red bucket with no special pieces.
