5.0 out of 5 stars One of the Best Games Ever Made, March 15, 2012
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
This game is a "sandbox" RPG, where you can go wherever you want, whenever you want. For that reason alone, it gets four stars from me. I love games like this, because you can spend countless hours exploring and getting lost in the virtual world. And the world of Skyrim is BIG! It probably takes over 100 hours to play through all of the quests and explore every map location. All the while, you are becoming more powerful, through the leveling and skill increase system, acquiring better arms, armor and spells.
If you are into power leveling, each skill has a way to level it up very rapidly, or you can just do so naturally, by playing the game.
I love the skills which allow you to make your own weapons, armor, enchantments, potions, etc. It is possible to craft godly items, like a bow which hits for over 1000 damage (on a sneak attack), a two handed hammer, which hits for over 450, armor that has incredibly powerful enchantments on it, like water breathing, faster mana regeneration, extra hit points, disease immunity, etc.
This game outclasses all the previous Elder Scrolls games in every conceivable way, which makes it much more fun and addictive. Random events, such as dragons attacking you while you are shopping in the middle of a town, occur all of the time.

2.0 out of 5 stars If You Are Expecting Fallout 3, Think Again, December 27, 2011
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Rage - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
What I liked about this game- the graphics are amazing. The opponents are also very life-like, when you're shooting at them. They zigzag, jump, roll, etc.

What I didn't like about this game-This is a very linear RPG. It is not a "sandbox" environment, where you can go and do whatever you want, whenever you want. It does not have an xp/leveling system, like Fallout 3 and many other games do. Character development is non-existent, beyond getting better weapons and recipes for gadgets. And while the graphics are great, the game doesn't seem very realistic. It is often cartoon-like. Enemies can spawn a limitless number of times in many areas. This occurs when you fight the very first boss. While it does have a sneak mode, it often does not work. In fact, some of the enemies can see you from half a mile away, when you're barely peeking around a rock, while in sneak mode. Something most special forces soldiers wouldn't be able to do in real life. The vehicles, while convenient for rapid transportation, seem to be a central part of the game (something I'd rather do completely without). There are many areas where you must be in a vehicle, traveling fast, in order to escape the bandits, who are in fast-moving (and very difficult to target, I might add), heavily armed vehicles. I guess I wanted something like Fallout 3, but it isn't like Fallout 3 at all. It's more like Borderlands, minus the leveling and the random unique weapon treasure generator. I played it for about two hours before I was completely sick of it.

1.0 out of 5 stars Won't Install, May 21, 2011
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Dragon Age: Origins (Video Game)
I just bought this game. There is some glitch with the security feature, which is supposed to allow you to download additional content, which is preventing me from installing the game. It seems to think I have a stolen code, because something went wrong while I was installing it and I had to attempt it a second time. Now every time I try to install it, it gets to around 15% and then just says "Installation failed," with no explanation.

2.0 out of 5 stars A decent game, which promotes homosexuality, February 12, 2011
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Fable III - Xbox 360 (Video Game)
The game is a newer, upgraded version of the Fable 2 game, with many similarities (the same old monsters, including balvarines, hobbs, undead, trolls, etc). Much of the game has been simplified, such as the emotions, which have gone from a menu to a single button.
I have to say, I really like what they did with the magic and ranged attacks. I hardly used magic in the first two games. In Fable 3, I found myself using magic more than anything else. I was using a dual lightning/fire combo, which seemed to work amazingly well. The few monsters which survived hits from it were both stunned and knocked back, allowing me to cast another spell. It made the game rather easy, actually, but it was fun.
My main gripe with this game is its promotion of homosexuality. In the Fable universe, about 25% of the NPC's are homosexual, as opposed to 3% in the real world. And, you get extra xp points for flirting with the same sex. The XP system, by the way, has been completely re-done, as if to simplify it to the 2nd grade level. No longer can you customize your character while leveling. Each character ends up being virtually the same. The only real choice is if you upgrade your melee/missile/spell damage first, second or third and what kind of magic you use.
The real estate aspect of the game is a lot of fun, but I found the maintenence to be irritating. I would much rather have liked to put this on automatic, with say a 10% penalty on the rent.
Another irritation was the constant change in the camera angle during combat. The game adds dramatic scenes to the combat, which abruptly force the camera angle to change, while you are still fighting in real time. It got me killed a few times and seriously injured dozens of times.
Anyway, if you don't want your kids exposed to homosexual propaganda, skip this game.

2.0 out of 5 stars A Children's Movie With Racist Comments, September 10, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This movie, while entertaining, has a racist theme. The phrase "cracker lackin" is uttered again and again. Can you imagine the contoversy, if this were an equivilent racial slur against black, or any non-white race of people? I suppose that "cracker lackin" means "a place without white people," because of the context that it is used in. Because of its repeated use, I have deducted three stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars One Star Reviews are Bogus, June 15, 2010
This review is from: The Overton Window (Hardcover)
Pay no mind to the one star reviews posted on here, written by Obama's Marxist supporters. They haven't even read the book. I'm putting my two cents in, just to counter their drivel. This book seems to be driving them nuts! For that alone, it deserves five stars.
I have read all of Glenn Beck's other books. They are all excellent. I would highly recommend Arguing With Idiots, as well as Common Sense. Both are excellent and will arm you with the truth against the liberal propaganda machine!

1.0 out of 5 stars Poor design-wouldn't work on my PC, May 18, 2010
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The game seemed to load up just fine, but no shortcut was placed on the desktop and despite digging into each file on the entire disc, I was unable to find any way to start the game. My PC exceeds every requirement (I have over 17 Gigs of processing power and a 1-gig graphics card). The help web site was not working either.

This lotion is good for dry skin. It does not look oily if you put it on your face and one application keeps your skin moist and smooth all day.

1.0 out of 5 stars This Chair is Dangerous, December 25, 2008
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I had originally put a 5 star review on this product, after trying it out for a week with no problems. Then, while giving someone a massage, the seat collapsed. After examining the chair, I found that the seat bar is held in position by a small notch. No hardware at all keeps it in place. The slightest bump or upward movement and it will collapse, slamming the person who is sitting in the chair's groin area into a steel bar, with their entire body weight on top of it! If you already bought one of these chairs, you can fix the problem by wrapping duct tape around the place where the two bars meet. This prevents them from coming apart. Buyer beware!
