2.0 out of 5 stars Great idea with major faults, December 28, 2011
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars
The target vest is great in theory. It's can be a tight fit if you're an adult with some weight on you, but it's generally very adjustable, and the velcro make it easier to get on and off and move on the fly. The SHOULDER TARGET is the only sensor. Some other reviews seem to think that the chest is a sensor, too. it is not. The shoulder sensor can easily be hit from the front, right side, and back. Being that you're head is in the way of the sensory when being attacked from the left, you might be impossible to hit from that side, but if the gun hits any part of it, it will pick it up. It has to be completely obstructed to not get hit. I have had some issues pairing the gun, but it's been fixed every time by shutting down the gun and turning it back on. Again... pair by shooting at the SENSOR, not the chest pad thing. that will get you nowhere. You can activate your shield from the chest pad itself... or someone else can do it for you by aiming at you and hitting their shield button (if they also have a paired chest target). Kinda strange if you ask me... but whatever.

So the major faults? Well, the way the guns work without the vest... is as you'd expect. they get hit x amount of times, and when you're defeated, the gun makes a noise, the barrel starts blinking every color, and you can no longer shoot your gun. Even if you don't notice it, it doesn't matter... you can't shoot if you're dead. So the faults? Well, when you pair your gun to your vest, the gun no longer can be hit... just the vest can. Not a big deal, I suppose... would be nice to be able to have them both be hit. The real problem is that the vest ONLY blinks your team color when you die. That's it. There's no sound that's any different from being shot... no death sound. Even worse... Your gun still works! So... you kill an enemy that's really into the game... running around n' whatnot... and they're defeated... but they don't notice that their chest is blinking... they think they're still in the game... and they keep shooting and kill you. Lame. Really lame. There should be a cable that goes from the gun to the vest that transfers some info that shuts off the gun n' whatnot... and can even make the gun an additional target.

Because of this, I have to say that the vests are almost unusable... unless you can really manage to keep an eye on your vest and be honest enough to not squeeze off a couple extra shots when you know you're dead... if you know you're dead, that is.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, and can't beat the price, September 28, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I ordered this because, as anyone looking would know, you can't do much with your camera if the battery dies. Not like you can go to the store and get a couple AAs. Being that the Fuji 3dw3 eats up batteries pretty fast, I wanted something that I could charge either on the go, or at home. This kit came with the charger, car adapter, international plug (which I have not used), and 2 batteries. I haven't come across any issues with the batteries. They seem to last the same amount of time as the stock battery that came with the camera. For a fraction of the cost of just one new battery, I managed to get two plus the charger and car adapter. I'd be quick to recommend this kit to go along with any of the compatible cameras.

Oh, and shipping was faster than I expected.
