1.0 out of 5 stars Horribly biased work produced by a convicted criminal, October 27, 2014
Pure nonsense with the singular goal of exciting the far right. Don't bother if you're a moderate looking for information about conservative politics.

1.0 out of 5 stars It's not science, April 7, 2014
There's nothing else to say. This is religious propaganda that is trying to hide by twisting science around it. Complete waste of time if you hope to actually learn something.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great drama, January 21, 2014
The performances are pitch perfect in showcasing their struggles. It really is quite a tragedy, as some of the hateful reviews of this movie on amazon indicate, that people who contract this disease for whatever reason, are judged and attacked by terrible and prejudiced individuals. Maybe one day this topic will not rile up such ignorance and hate, this movie certainly helps put society a step in the right direction.

1.0 out of 5 stars broken, November 22, 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
Is red ring all over again. I could forgive the drm junk because they decided to backpedal on it, but the noise this thing makes while not working just shows poor craftsmanship.

Haven't had any problems with it yet. The ui is sleek and innovative. Super fast processing, you can enter and exit a game on a dime.

1.0 out of 5 stars waaaay too much action, November 12, 2013
This review is from: Man of Steel (Blu-ray) (Blu-ray)
I don't understand how someone can call this thing "plot heavy." This is the movie: It opens with a 20 minute action scene that ends with a planet exploding. It then goes to a burning oil rig action scene which.... culminates in an explosion. Then superman thinks about an action scene of a crashing bus from his youth. Then he's shown as a young adult during an action scene with a tornado blowing up cars. Then the bad guys from the first action scene show up, and they punch each other for two more action scenes that destroy a small town and explode an entire city and then it's over. That's not a plot, that's watching an 8 year old boy playing with toys and calling it a deep story.

1.0 out of 5 stars Not that great, September 16, 2013
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
There's nothing here for fans of the original trilogy. It uses the same dumb insta-kill "press this button to win" mechanic known as mark and execute from conviction, as well as the same dumb running and "Panther" stealth system, where it's expected for enemies to find you and focus on your last exact seen spot.

They claim that it has very wide open levels but it doesn't. At most there's maybe 2-3 solutions, or slight derivatives in the order you are required to often kill people.

The story is short as hell coming in at around 5 hours. I'll spare the voice acting change rant because it's been said a hundred times before(even though it still sucks)

A lot of moments are in it that you can tell were made by a board of people going "This will shock people! Lets do it!" There's nothing that's really contributing to the story from these moments but the gamers they're obviously targeting with this kind of thing will thinks it's deep and emotional and that it made them cry or whatever. Grown ups will find it overacted and boring with a weak script.

Would not recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, June 4, 2013
Just posting to counter all of the ridiculous, immature, and childish negative reviews that were clearly written by people who really need to grow up. WRITING IN ALL CAPS DOESN'T MAKE YOUR POINT MORE VALID. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE AS A CASUAL MOVIE GOER.

1.0 out of 5 stars The game doesn't work, March 7, 2013
I just want to play singleplayer but the game keeps asking to sign in online with an estimated 20 minute wait time. EA is insane for thinking this was a good idea.

2.0 out of 5 stars It's not actually that good, March 6, 2013
= Fun:2.0 out of 5 stars
This review is from: Tomb Raider (Video Game)
If by "reinvention" you mean "twilight level of hokey drama," you're in luck! This game offers some of the worst writing to come out of this this year in video games and is entirely supported by it's mediocre platforming and pseudo-open world. The writers tried to make flat, stock characters who's personalities consist of stereotypes, and pass them off as dynamic, major characters. Reviewers like ign and kotaku would say the exact same kinds of things about a game as bland in story as gears of war and praise it as an epic reinvention just as long as they put in a female protagonists just because they are sorely lacking in the industry. Don't believe the hype. It's more of the same with an awful story, atrocious writing, and endless cutscenes every 5 seconds to pour salt in the wound.
