5.0 out of 5 stars Greatest Ozzy performance, May 6, 2004
This review is from: Bark at the Moon (Audio CD)
This is surely the greatest Ozzy performance to date. His voice sounds amazingly divine, almost supernatural. The great guitar playing of Jake E. Lee and the musicianship of Don Airey add up to one of the greatest music experiences you can have. The unusual song So Tired will surely amuse you in an unexpected way but the album reaches it's peak at it's end, with the killer Waiting For Darkness, which is a reflexion on life's downsides. The bonus tracks on this new release are also not to be missed. Both songs catch up with the rest of the album and are much better than any recent material.

5.0 out of 5 stars Ultimately amazing, May 6, 2004
This review is from: Ultimate Sin (Audio CD)
This is surely one of the greatest Ozzy albums, if not the best of them all. The greatest songs are Never Know Why, Lightning Strikes, Fool Like You and Shot In The Dark, but you won't find a single regular song at all among the others. This album is the last one with one of Ozzy's greatest guitarists, Jake E. Lee and the first one with the fabulous Randy Castillo. Definitely a must buy.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best album with Zakk Wylde, May 6, 2004
This review is from: No Rest for the Wicked (Audio CD)
This is surely the best album since Ozzy started working with Zakk Wylde. It also counts with the great drums of Randy Castillo, who also collaborated with the amazing Ultimate Sin. The song Fire In The Sky is very deep and intense, as well as songs such as Tattooed Dancer provide that punch you'd expect from a typical Ozzy album.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not as good as his previous work, May 6, 2004
This review is from: No More Tears (Audio CD)
If you have been following Ozzy's carrer from Blizzard Of Ozz up to No Rest For The Wicked, you'll be sort of disappointed with this material. The whole album has a very commercial, poppish approach, sometimes it even sounds like it tries to catch up with the new trends stablished by the music industry. Perhaps the track called Road To Nowhere is the finest song in the album, but it's still not to be compared with Ozzy's previous work. It sounds like it lacks creativity, since all tracks sound similar. If you don't have all of the previous material yet (including the material from the Black Sabbath era), take my advice and leave this one for your next purchase.
