3.0 out of 5 stars 13th edition GMAT review, June 5, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This is THE book for studying GMAT, so why only 3 stars?

While the 9 first chapters are what I expected, the exercises of the new chapter (integrated reasoning) are NOT in the book: the book gives you a 6 month access to them on the "companion website". This is thus the first math book I ever buy with a limited access to it's exercises.

While some argue that there are new exercises I wonder why they did replace old ones instead of giving us more to practice? The old exercises where not worse or better, just different.

This new chapter is thus the main reason justifying the acquisition of this new edition.

The marketing fluff around it, combined with the lack of content in this chapter have caused me a big disappointment: this feels as a commercial ripoff, thus justifying the 3 stars instead of 5.

In case you are planning to skip the integrated reasoning part of the exam, the book is awesome.
