5.0 out of 5 stars A terrific book!, March 5, 2014
This review is from: Paris Letters (Paperback)
A terrific book full of sensible information on how to radically change your life for the better and MOVE TO PARIS,
Why didn't I read this book before coming? Because it wasn't out there. Winging it is not the best way to go. Pre-planing is and Janice can pre-plan with Einstein IMHO. Plus there's romance, wit and fun. What more do you want?
Plus entrepreneurail gumption!
There, that should be enough to convince you to read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Paris Foodie Bible, September 26, 2013
Do not leave home without this book!
An absolute must have for the latest, newest inside scoop on everything foodie in Paris.
I'm addicted and converted. i hope they do a kindle version soon...great to have in your handbag for easy reference. The tone is friendly, chatty and down to earth, like a best friend sharing her secret places. Every place mentioned I've tried so far has proven worthy plus TPG makes you even more adventurous in Paris, which let's face it can be intimidating at times.
La creme de la creme of Paris food guides IMHO.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrifically useful and funny to boot, November 14, 2012
Wish I'd picked up this book on arrival instead of at the Relay in CDG on departure... Still very useful and I'll be eminently preped next trip. Next time I'll have the la salade de chevre chaud where air I go - the key to any quality bistro. Also useful the subjective descriptions of each of the 14 Metro lines and each of the 20 arrondissements. Tremendous fun and a good read whatever your intentions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful story teller, November 8, 2012
I'm a big fan of Karen Wheeler's first two book so it would be impossible to not love Tout Soul. Wheeler weaves many a good yarn of her experiences living in the heart of France and keeps you turning pages to quickly. I especially love how she describes the French landscape - she paints a pictures of the changes in the weather and seasons that makes you feel like you're there beside her and her petit chien. Such fun!
More books please Karen!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific, September 18, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: BackJoy Core Black (Misc.)
I bought Backjoy with some hesitation but noticed an immediate difference once I tried it out. Now I can't sit without it.
I took it on a long bus trip (9 hours) and it made a huge difference.
The only problem I can fathom is it blends in easily with bus seats and I left mine on Megabus and now someone else is enjoying it I suppose.
I ordered a second and will lay down red stripes of some sort so I don't rush off and forget it again.
Backjoy works well too if you're sitting on the floor as advertized.
I'm a fan.

The Sketchbook Challange is chock-a-block with how-to ideas and step-by-steps to DIY. A multitude of techniques are covered many craft-oriented including collaging, stamping, even thread sketching. Very mixed media-related if you're a hands-on artist and love to play with unusual materials.

5.0 out of 5 stars J'Adore!, June 17, 2012
This book has that certain 'je ne sait quoi' any book about France must have. Full of excellent, sensible all-round travel advice useful anywhere plus copious details on varieties of oysters, fromage,Bordeaux wines, French butterflies, mariniere striped shirts, charcuterie, le pain, even Paris park chaises. The list goes on and on. I forgot to list marital relationships while traveling and how to keep the flame alive. All revealed in a personalized journal format and fully illustrated in the most charming, engaging manner.
A perfect gift for any armchair traveler or one about to hit Le Road.
