5.0 out of 5 stars Good, sweet red pop, February 22, 2015
So good. The taste of cane sugar, and the only red pop I've found that doesn't use RED40.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't fit, poor quality, January 30, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This case doesn't fit my Nexus 7 2013 tablet at all. The back, rather than snap on, just gapes around the corners and edges it should be gripping. The front doesn't lay flat but bows outward, unable to close properly. The front latch splays outward uselessly.

I ordered two cases from Amazon this week, from two different vendors, and both were garbage.

2.0 out of 5 stars Arrived with several keys not working, latch blocks space bar, very odd mappings for common symbols, January 30, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This keyboard arrived with the 9, P, L, right shift, and up arrow keys not functioning, and the / key working infrequently.

Typing + - or _ is problematic. This keyboard has no - key, instead requiring you to type Ctrl+9 for underscores (_) and Ctrl+0 for dash/minus/hyphen (-). Shift+equal, which usually types a plus (+), activates the Android "search" function. To type a plus, you have to press Ctrl+equal.

The case latch sits right in front of the space bar, and since the keyboard is recessed (and tiny), effectively blocks it.

1.0 out of 5 stars False advertising: Not shower safe, January 9, 2015
Really loved this speaker. Paired easily, sounded good, held a charge for as long as I used it. Used it in my car for several days, where the suction cup held beautifully. The first time I used it in the shower, it held for a minute, then fell (and got wet, obviously). It continued to play for a few more minutes, but never connected via Bluetooth again. I guess it's just a radio now.

1.0 out of 5 stars Supports neither tablets nor Lollipop, January 4, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Amazon Video (App)
This app requires the (phone) Amazon (store) app to work. The tablet version of the app is not sufficient, apparently.

And like all of my Amazon apps, it constantly closes when used with the Lollipop Android version on my phone, making it useless.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great app; is this the best store for it?, August 5, 2013
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Something to keep in mind: you risk not having offline access to your travel data if you don't happen to be logged in to amazon's app store when you open this app, because it'll refuse to open.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't work, April 8, 2011

I can't reorder items in my queue. Shows an old version of my queue. Plenty of other apps can just add a title. Not keeping.

1.0 out of 5 stars Lousy, phony, stupid, August 26, 2005
With apologies to Douglas Adams, this is obviously some strange new usage of the word "thriller" that I was not previously aware of.

This book is the literary equivalent of a terrible Hollywood action movie. A thin, predictable plot and remarkably lazy research. If you learn anything about cryptography from this book, you've probably learned it wrong. This guy can't even keep bits and bytes straight!

For a much more exciting (if a little more challenging), read Cryptonomicon by Neal Stephenson. Bruce Schneier, the rock star of cypherpunks, provided a new strong encryption algorithm, that requires only a deck of cards, just for this story (detailed in the appendix).

If you are looking for something a bit more approachable, try Mark Fabi's Wyrm (at the very least, it has crossword puzzles in it).

If you like a challenging read--something entertaining that stretches your mind--check out Greg Egan's Terenesia or Permutation City.

Life's too short to support bad entertainment when there is so much good stuff out there.

1.0 out of 5 stars Crashes on startup, November 28, 2003
The commercials look great; the clips on their site also look fun. It's just too bad I cannot play this game.
My machine meets the requirements, but the game crashes when I try to start it. Wait for a patch before spending any money on it (assuming, of course, that one will be released).
