5.0 out of 5 stars Exciting!, March 20, 2013

A great Bond film with all of the chases, beautiful women, impossible situations that you come to expect from 007. This one has a really creepy villian and a very touching ending. Plus - there is a teaser at the end regarding the next Bond movie. Daniel Craig is my favorite James Bond after the original Sean Connery.

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely movie!, November 24, 1999
This review is from: The Swan [VHS] (VHS Tape)
I absolutely adore The Swan. Why? Because it's a classic love story. Grace Kelly does an outstanding job as the Princess Alexandra. Alec Guiness is wonderful as Prince Albert. Loise Jordan is amazing as the love struck professer(with the looks to go with it! ) His acting is great and the way he looks at her you know that he is in love with her and her with him. But alas! Duty calls. Forced by both rank and position they must bid farewell to each other with only a kiss to console them. A great show! With wonderful humor and shot at the fashionable Biltmore Estate. Go see it!

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful,lovely movie!, November 24, 1999
This review is from: Gigi [VHS] (VHS Tape)
A wonderfully, charming movie,I just saw GiGi for the second time not remembering how good it was. I loved Leslie Caron's portrayal of a girl who is growning up. I also adore Loise Jordan who is devastatingly handsome as ever. I really like the message in the movie; GiGi doesn't want to be his mistress but decides she'd rather be with him than tossed around by some other man. But then Gaston realizes that she is to good for that and that he loves her to much,so he marries her. It just goes to show that he loved HER and not just her body or something. And that is the type of man to marry! Of course I love the songs,Thank Heaven and It's a bore. The only thing I didn't like is that they never kiss! Go see it!
