This review is from: Perfect Pushup Elite (Sports)
this enables the pushup to be much more effective and safer on the joints. as a guy who has not done a lot of calisthenics, i ordered these to add variety to my routine in order to change up from free weights and machines at the gym. sturdy built to last, glad to make this investment.

5.0 out of 5 stars best golf game to date, May 9, 2013
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars

this is the only golf game i can play non stop over and over and always have fun. it is simple to play but still articulate enough to feel like you are playing a "real" golf game. graphics are absolutely beautiful. you can't go wrong with mario and his buddies in a sports game. be careful because 7pm will become 1am very quickly when playing this game.

5.0 out of 5 stars top notch band, September 3, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
i love bodylastics, this band is thick, great tension, and the clips are as sturdy as always. with heavier resistance like this, i will not need the gym anymore. my biggest complaint with bodylastics was you needed so many bands to achieve heavy weight but this is a good step in the right direction. i hope they come out with a 45 lbs tension band like a regular plate.

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointed, September 3, 2012
= Fun:3.0 out of 5 stars
i had higher hopes for the new physics engine and gameplay. i liked the graphics of last year's game a lot better. the graphics in 2012 should be top notch but instead look like something from sega CD. the linebackers still jump 10 feet to intercept a pass and the running back seems to trip all the time. the menu in connected coach mode is hideous, hard to find things and i can't even tell what is going on half the time. the twitter usage is way over the top. simms and nantz commentary is better but needs more lines. i've played two games and heard repetetive lines over and over again. i do not understand why they changed franchise mode, it was not broken...gameplay was broken so fix that. do not fix what is not broken. this has to be the last year i purchase madden. it seems like EA sports and Madden just care about ripping people off. If Madden wants my respect back he should come out and mail us all a check for what we spent on the game.

1.0 out of 5 stars awfullllll, March 25, 2012
= Fun:1.0 out of 5 stars
this game is horrendous, the controls as mentioned are not tight at all. you are FORCED to tweak the sliders too much and even then its impossible to get the game right. i can't make shots with the all stars on my team yet the pistons with monroe and stuckey beat me by 30 on the all star level???!!!!i tweaked the sliders and then won by 43, then tweaked them back down and lost by 37. i can't get it right and i am frustrated as hell. there are no post up moves the computer, everything is jumpshots and three's. rebounding is terrible - you will give up so many offensive rebounds. you will block 20 shots a game and forget about going for layups as you will get constantly blocked. the announcers are REPETITIVE very fast and you will turn them off by game 2. the ball is constantly stolen and there are too many missed shots. the computer will always storm their way back in the 2nd half as well. i hate this game and this will be the last time i buy nba 2k unless the engine changes.

5.0 out of 5 stars totally worth the money, September 29, 2011

best gym equipment i ever bought. i have been lifting since i was 13 and the versitility, convenice, and just overall construction and smoothness of this product cannot be beat. i have a bone spur in my neck and lower back disc problems and i do not feel an ounce of pain when using these bands. they are smooth, high quality, the clips and handle are gym quality, and they fit right in my draw at home. the door stopper is top notch, very sturdy, and stays secure. the best part of these bands is you need to stabilize your core at the same time as using the bands, giving you a total body workout all the time. i am 6'0 270 lbs and these bands are great for me, big recommendation here and i will never go to the gym again. no need to wait for a machine, sit in someone's sweat, and get dirty looks from "mr. bodybuilder" as he walks around for his 5th straight hour training arms. a real bonus of bands is that there is no momentum, which makes it much easier on the joints.

3.0 out of 5 stars just mediocre, May 5, 2011
= Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars
this game is a roster update and basically is the same as last year...the strike zone is crazy and you never get a borderline strike anymore, it is always a ball...the players do not look much different from each other, the game is choppy, the sliders are not accurate, players get hurt way too easily, especially pitchers...the graphics of the stadium look great and the announcers are pretty good, but mentioning last year's stats in every game at the beginning of the season is a bit tiring

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Fun Round 2, November 6, 2008
= Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars
As someone who loved the original Saints Row, I was glad they made a part 2. I am glad the player gets to talk this time around, though the British accent for a white male is really weird in a game like this. The concept is basically the same as the first game except now you are more of a leader than a follower. I like how they tied together the first and second games with all the characters as I was worried they were going to make this game its own entity with the "same character". I love Johnny Gat and he looks even cooler this time around. The graphics are a disappointment - I know its a cartoonish game, but the first one looked a whole lot better in my opinion. There seems to be this haze that makes it even worse when looking at things, no matter the time of day. I think fighting and the weapons are much cooler in their effects and how they are represented.

That being said, the originality between this game and the previous really isn't there. It's basically the same story and goals - earning respect, doing missions against rival gangs, conquering rival strongholds, etc. There is more variety with the respect challenges which I like and its not as easy to succeed in the early level of the respect challenges either. This game is fun, but still seems to be lacking something. I wish I got to choose how to attack the rival gangs for once in a sandbox game. It would also be nice to have the AI of my gang be smarter and have more of an effect with their guns. I watched Johnny fire 8 shotgun blasts into someone and it didn't kill the guy. Forget it when he uses a regular pistol. It's like the computer controlled gang members really have no effect.

I like the game, but I honestly felt more of a connection and interest in the original rival gangs than this one. These gangs seem very far fetched and weird to see on the streets just walking around like everything is normal. I like that my character is the leader and not just a silent runner for the big guys. I like that the respect bar adds up faster this time around through various methods besides respect activites. It's better than GTA in fun and replay ability but still not a perfect "gang" sandbox simulation.
