5.0 out of 5 stars Michael Shaw 1/12/09- GREAT WATCH!, January 12, 2009
The pictures you see on the Web simply do not come close to matching what this watch looks like in person. The size is just right- not too big nor is it too small. The dial is very stunning with its deep saphire blue color and the 'sun burst' effect it has in the right lighting. All the silver parts and markings on the dial, especialy the logo show up in good detail. It's not just some cheap dial where everything is printed on it-everything is set by hand. The hands have a fancy mercedes look to them and the second hand sweeps which I think is lot more elegant than a ticking second hand. The bezel is unidirectional so it wont be harmful if it accindentaly is bumbed while diving- you'll just wind up surfacing to soon unstead of to late.
The crown is screw down so it stops water from seeping in (660 feet water resistant) and does not snag on things. The back of the watch has a glass crystal over it unstead of a steel covering so you are able to view how the watch works, which is pretty cool. The stainless steel band makes the watch look even more expensive with its polished links mixed with the brushed links. The band also is extra long so it will fit a large sized wrist with room to spare (I had to take out four links- my wrist are rather small) and the divers buckle has room to adjust. I like how the buckle has a fold-over safty clasp so your watch wont pop open if you snag it on something.

Overall, this watch was diffently worth the money. It retails at $315 and I got it for $109, which is one heck of a steal. This watch easily can be mistaken to be worth several hundred dollars more. As long as you take good care of it and have it serviced regularly by an authorized Invicta jeweler, it will last you a very long time, if not for life.
