Thic Naht Hahn is a brilliant teacher and communicator....the PROBLEM with the CD version is that -HE- doesn't read it, someone else does.....I found it impossible to listen to....get the book version

3.0 out of 5 stars It's the Paper, December 12, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
It's hard to believe somebody would print a picture book on off-white mat finish paper......the blacks aren't black because mat finish paper absorbs the ink and the whites aren't white paper......so the value range isn't 1-10, it's 2-9 at best.....other than that JACK DAVIS RULES!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars G-R-R-R-RRR, October 20, 2011

This review is from: Gig Posters Volume I (Paperback)
Great Images!!!.....TERRIBLE PAPER.....I can't believe they would print a book of Posters on BOOK PAPER......No one would ever print a Poster even full-size on this kind of paper....You can barely distinguish a very dark from a black.....the ink soaks into non-glossy porous stock like this instead of riding on top of the paper....therefore you don't have the pure white pure black or the line/edge detail that is necessary for a PICTURE book....any subtlety of Line/Tone/Color is lost....shame on you.....I'm keeping it because the Images are stimulating, but I'll have to look at it outside.....GRRRRRRRRR

I have been suffering from Vaso motor Rhinitis and finding very little help herbally, until I tried Septilin....this stuff has actually reduced the swelling in the nasal membrane allowing me to breath though my nose again....I'm thrilled to have found this product.....You can search Rhinitis + Septilin and find studies, that's how I found out....the study I read suggested taking Geriforte with it, so I have.....I also found out that the neti pot and exercise have been helpfull....But Septilin is the real deal.....good luck

5.0 out of 5 stars User friendly material, March 13, 2011
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I purchased the abridged CD version and use the material on a daily basis without effort. Asking myself his basic questions "What's going on with me right now and am I willing to be with it right now? " has led me to a greater freedom to just be. It has helped me to stop running away from my experience of my own existence. The result is I'm not afraid of my emotional reactions to life anymore. What's that worth? I do recommend it and have seen others benefit from the material as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Brilliant, July 29, 2010
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
What a wonderful surprise this book is. I've been unclear about Buddha's teaching on `no-self ' inspite of reading and trying to understand it. This book is one of those rare books that actually takes you to the experience, not just more information. They say that when somebody really knows what they are talking about they can explain it to anyone. I get it now, what's that worth? Thank you for taking the time to write this treasure.

1.0 out of 5 stars Happy for No Reason: 7 Steps to Being Happy from the Inside Out, June 8, 2010
This book is really lame....I took it out of the library as an audiobook....listened to 20 minutes of it and had to turn it off....my bet is the title came first and then the filler (the book) came second......glad I didn't pay for it.....some times people write a book for No Good Reason
