5.0 out of 5 stars Great insights and practical advice, August 12, 2013
Jeff's book is full of great insights and practical advice. He has a nice blend of sales background and small business experience, which is sometimes rare in social media advice books, and that keeps the book relevant for his audience. His content production and "media company" approach is spot on. I think a lot of folks could benefit by reading this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Elaine NAILS it with her insights on women in business, February 2, 2010
Elaine nails it with the Velvet Hammer when making observations and insights about women in business, how we respond differently, and most importantly how to navigate the waters where the tide has been running with the guys for some time. Based largely on personal experience and research, this book clearly lays out a simple but well research approach for women who are new to management and want to establish themselves as credible while not loosing that feminine touch. As an observer and researcher on marketing to women, I found her chapter on 'celebrating the differences' particularly insightful. Rather than becoming one of those books that waits patiently on your bedside table for attention, this book is easy to get into and brief enough to finish without too much effort.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great concept, December 7, 2008
I love the concept of this book and the collaborative nature of bringing together authors from around the world. Some pieces are better written or more valuable than others, but overall this book has a lot of great information from the blog user and social networking standpoint. Those in the marketing industry would be well served to have a read.
