5.0 out of 5 stars A must in your collection of horror/thrillers, September 11, 2014
From the directors of "Amer".
That's all I needed to attract me to view this film.
I knew what to expect from "Amer".

It was more than I expected to say the least. It was beautiful, haunting, and full
of amazing cinematography.
It was a tribute to the giallo genre which is one of my favorite genres of all time.

This is a must for any fan of horror or giallo specific. It's done in a more experimental/avant-garde interpretation and done wonderfully.

I hope these two directors continue in the same vein of filmmaking. It's beautifully done. Don't listen to those that dismiss as pretentious. You'll miss out.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best in horror/thriller (giallo specific) in decades., September 11, 2014
This review is from: Amer [Blu-ray] (Blu-ray)
This is what horror cinema should be. A great mix of a classic genre (Giallo) and avant-garde cinema.
Most just dismiss as pretentious, but those that do probably just want T&A slasher style only, no substance. This
film has substance and more.
One of the best attempts at the giallo genre since the 70s.

4.0 out of 5 stars Cool Movie but HORRIBLE DVD COVER!, December 19, 2013
cool film, but the cover to this dvd is horrible. who came up with this cover? who thought it looked cool or creepy? the cover alone makes me NOT want to buy it. I don't understand some dvd covers that are this terrible and have no appeal at all.
Spend an extra buck or two and get a pro who knows what they're doing. Maybe someone that specializes in horror. Looks like they paid some not much to come up with this terrible dvd cover.

2.0 out of 5 stars Love the movie, HATE the dvd cover from Shout! Factory, June 28, 2013
Two stars just for the terrible dvd cover art from Shout Factory!!! Most of their recent reissues have had these terrible cover. The artist has insulted the films. Use the original. That's good enough. I hope they stop. It's really sad.

The film is a classic. Too bad the cover isn't.

2.0 out of 5 stars Great movie, Horrible cover, June 28, 2013
Video companies should stick with original artwork. Shout! has ruined it!!! They do horrible dvd covers. Makes me NOT want to buy it. I'll look for a different version. Who is the one that said, "Yes, they look amazing"! Well they don't. Most people who are horror films fans hate it too (that I know).
Aside from that, the movie is a classic.

1.0 out of 5 stars Totally pretentious, April 11, 2013
Designer Ralph Rucci seems to portray what he feels a "fashion designer" should be. He comes across more arrogant and pretentious that it will ruin the whole read. Nothing interesting in his life other than designers he worked for. He brings absolutely nothing to fashion. This is just a bore. Pass.

1.0 out of 5 stars A book from a designer no one will remember, February 17, 2013
I was surprised to see Project Runway non winner do a book. I kept thinking why is he writing a book on fashion so early in his "career"?
The book seems so pretentious and I see why some are selling it for under $1. Just terrible. Nothing new. It's coming from a designer that really isn't do anything that we hear about. Just sad. Boring read. If someone is going to give us such a book, let it be from someone with notoriety that has clout to do such a book. Not a nobody from a reality show.

1.0 out of 5 stars Would Never Recommend, November 8, 2012
This review is from: Fighting for Voltage (Audio CD)
I am a fan of Frontline Assembly and KMFDM. This band is awful. I would never recommend to fans of those artists previously mentioned. This is bottom of the barrel music. From the generic non-clever L.S.D. name to the music to their image. It's like Hot Topic b.s. An insult to the electro/industrial/EBM music from the 80s.
The cover lookls like a F.L.A. rip off from their Wax Trax days.
Be original! Again, the music is so awful that only the worst of the worst in horror movies would use and that's not a compliment. They're worse live. I never heard so many people say they wanted their money back. Only people who seemed interested were the drunks.

1.0 out of 5 stars Just when you think it couldn't get worse...It does, November 8, 2012
This review is from: Caution (Audio CD)
First off, the cover is total cheese. Looks like it was done by a student's first try at design.
The music is horrible. I saw this band open for TKK, it was the worse hour of my life. Their music is so dated. Their look is also dated and generic. From image to sound, this is horrible. Consider yourself warned.

4.0 out of 5 stars An overlooked slasher gem, August 22, 2012
I first saw this film as a child and loved it. Many years later, I still love it as an adult. May seem like a typical forest killer film, but this one has it's creepy and disturbing moments. Recommended!!!
