1.0 out of 5 stars So Disappointted--last Dell I'll ever buy, December 12, 2015
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I've had this model Dell for about six months and have had nothing but trouble with it. Often it won't even boot up and it takes multiple tries of turning off and on and then letting it sit for several days so that the BIOS can reset (this was also a comment from another unhappy user). The newest problem is that pinned icons are going dead and the unit will not let me uninstall and then reinstall the programs. Also, beware purchasing from a vendor who has bought units in bulk. Dell refuses to recognize me as the owner--although they were more than happy to sell me separate hardware and software warranties after the fact.

Yes, it's cute, it's light and it's flexible in tablet mode, but it's a pain in the neck to use. Cannot recommend.

5.0 out of 5 stars Loved Leo and Mariel's story, August 22, 2012
Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The best kind of romance is the one where you want the heroine for your best friend and the hero for your very own, and when you want to strangle the bad guys. Gaston hits a bullseye on all points in A Not So Respectable Gentleman? She figuratively and literally gives Leo and Mariel a rough and rocky road to their happy ending and a wonderful conclusion to the Diamonds of Welbourne Manor series. She and her sister series creators (Amanda McCabe and Deb Marlowe) have given me new some new residents for my keeper shelf.

A stellar addition to Gaston's outstanding body of work!

PS: I don't know what book it was that the Old Latin Teacher read, but it sure wasn't this one!

I enjoyed Angel and Mitch's story very much! Both characters carry a lot of baggage, but even when it seems they might not get their happily ever after, the reader still cheers for them. The Satisfaction series was, yes, very satisfying!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection, December 4, 2011

I LOVED this novella, the perfect sequel (and conclusion) to the Three Soldiers series. Claude is all grown up as is Louisa and the love they find when both despair of ever finding a real home is so gratifying. I have enjoyed all Diane Gastons novels and novellas. She has a wonderful feel for the era and her settings always compliment the story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Non-Stop Action!, August 2, 2011
This review is from: Midnight Sun (Kindle Edition)
Likeable characters, non-stop action and really bad bad guys make this exciting book by MJ Fredrick unputdownable. Cruise-ship chef Brylie and cruise-ship owner Marcus find passion for each other in an on-shore encounter then fight for their lives when their ship bound for Antarctica is boarded by pirates. Together they save the day, then save it again.

Locations and situations you don't often see in romance novels abound here. Midnight Sun is a great read!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet and Sexy, August 2, 2011
This review is from: Undercover Vices (Kindle Edition)
Can you have both? In Undercover Vices, the answer is yes. Reed is the hot and conscientious cop out to break up a sex-toy party ring. Cassie is the "dealer" in the popular business. There's a harassing female cop, an unlucky-in-love best friend, a judgmental family--and a happy ending!

I know you'll enjoy this one. Looking forward to reading more books by Tori Scott.

5.0 out of 5 stars Talk about wonderful!, July 31, 2011

I grew up in the Kentucky equivalent of Winchester Cove, California, so when I say that MJ Fredrick got the small town vibe right, you can believe it. It's hard to grow up and fall in love when everyone around you knows your history all the way back to the flood!

Ellie Morgan has just broken up with the town's favorite son, the local football coach. Noah Morgan is finally coming out of mourning the death of his wife Lily. Longtime friends, Ellie and Noah reconnect, much to the disapproval of their families and the townfolk they both grew up with. Their love story is one of fits and starts. It's frustrating, inspiring and darned sexy, too.

Congrats to Fredrick on a great story.

5.0 out of 5 stars Adding up to a great read, July 31, 2011

I have a real soft spot in my heart for characters who don't think they're happily-ever-after material.

In Silas Garrett's case it's because his wife divorced him before she was tragically killed. In Jewel Jasper's case, it's because of her experiences with her always-seeking-but-never-succeeding-in-marriage mother.

Their road to romance is never smooth but when these two lonely souls connect you'll cry and cheer at the same time. Templeton's gift for banter puts this one on my keeper shelf.

Recommended: the other titles in Templeton's Wed in the West series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Dangerous Killer, July 31, 2011

I don't have a mystery writer's brain, but I love to read mysteries. Milburn kept me intrigued 'till the last page. I thought I knew who the killer was, but she kept that from me, and masterfully, too.

Sydney Blackburn and Jake Radley are compelling characters, both trying to do the right thing, but in opposite ways. I liked them as people, both imperfectly clinging to their own truths while being open enough to understand the other's position. Their coming together was explosive and a romance you won't soon forget. Read it now!!!
