5.0 out of 5 stars rejuvenation, June 20, 2012

Dr. Delre's book, REJUVENATION opens up a new area of healing modality that can make the difference in healing chronic problems and liviing with less vitality. I have found his book to be a stream of hope for those who are motivated to help themselves and willing to follow his protocols.. Light thus used can be valuable as air and water to aid the body to overcome issues related to our quality of life and happiness. I very much appreciated his experience and willingness to share with others his research in this new field of medicine. This book spells freedom for those who want to break the shakles of bondage, slaves to big PHARMA. This book should be in every household. CH/WASHINGTON

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent image quality at 1.4, August 24, 2010

BUT unless you have very good eyes and you know VERY WELL HOW to set up the cam MANUALLY, DON'T BUY IT. The cam don't get ANY infos from the lens, and IS is not gonna work AT ALL, unless you buy an AF Confirm / IS Programmable chip (ebay sells them for $20 +5 for shipping) or at least a Dual Split Image Focus Screen. At 1.4 (where this lens must be used the most, (otherwise why buy an 1.4?)the depth of field is very narrow that unless your focusing is very accurate, DON'T BUY IT.
Build quality looks OK, (I would say very good for the money), image quality is amazing- BOKEH, SHARPNESS, etc- + on an Olympus body this lens will be 170/1.4- something unheard before. Sigma don't make 85/1.4 for third party -yet (shame to Sigma) and even if they make it you have to pay over 3 times more, and I doubt the image quality would be any better AT 1.4! See a comparison between Leica Summilux 80/1.4 vs Rokinon 85/1.4
[...]
also with Canon 85/1.2
[...]
Zeiss vs. Vivitar 85mm f/1.4 for Nikon

See also the reviews on B&H, under Vivitar/ Bower 85/1.4.
I also seen a comparison with Nikon 85/1.4 (that I cannot find it now)- and Rokinon is a LOT SHARPER AT 1.4!
Hope you find IT for yourselves.

Look at my pics - all at 1.4-, all hand held & without IS. I'm waiting for the chip to come, (see how is gonna work)- UPDATE:The chip came, is just a piece of junk, NOTHING WORKING as advertised. (lost $30)
Instead I'm using a split image now, that helps me better, still the LIVE VIEW IS THE BEST.
Hope my review will help, thx
