5.0 out of 5 stars Great First Gym, December 14, 2013
This review is from: Bowflex PR1000 Home Gym (Sports)
It took me about 3 hours to setup. Its overall a very good quality product. I think one can do even more exercises than the advertised 30 or so. I plan on using the 20 min 3 times a week plan with this gym. I usually do not have time to drive to a gym. This is a perfect thing to have in the basement.

5.0 out of 5 stars Simple Robust Machine, December 14, 2012
Just had it delivered. So far i find it simpler machine to use than the one at gym, and as powerful as the gym one. Good enough area to put oyour ipad and hook it with the speakers, and watch netflix or youtube while running/walking. I like the fact it has specific speed buttons and incline buttons. I have not used the software/usb that comes with it instead just running in manual mode and using the 0 to 5k app from itunes.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great book for learning cocos2d, January 23, 2011
This is my second book on cocos2d. It is a great introduction to cocos2d. It works through 3 different games, colored stones, arialgun, and a physics game called totem balance. The book starts with chapter on getting and installing cocos2d, and then explains about using sprite, actions, working with labels, layers and scenes. It also covers game physics, particle systems, tilemaps. In the last chapter it covers how use OpenFeint a framework for leaderboard, achievements and game score sharing. I thought this was a very useful book, this was my second book reading about cocos2d, and it is useful for both a beginner or person already a bit familiar with cocos2d.

5.0 out of 5 stars Badly needed book for cocos2d, December 6, 2010
I was looking for documentation. This is the very first book on cocos2d and was badly needed. I have gone through many of the short tutorials on the web and was able to make prototypes from it. After reading half of this book i realized there were still many things not in the web sites. After reading the first 8 chapters a programmer should be able to develop a working game. It has lots of useful tips, programming good practices in it. I will definitely recommend to any iPhone game developer.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Book on struts. Well thought, August 2, 2006
I just bought this book, looking at the reviews. I must tell you that this book is worth all the 5 stars. I have always tried to read about struts from different websites, and even after understanding the concepts had a bit of fuziness. But the author has a very well understanding of the framework and has written the book, such that a reader does not get overloaded with irrelevant information and understands the concepts one step at a time.

5.0 out of 5 stars I just bought a mind storm kit and this book, November 30, 2002
I just bought a mind storm kit and have had great fun during these thanks giving holidays. I explored the lejos api and have read this book. I am keenly interested in running the robot over the network, with the IR tower. And this book has just all the code and examples to help me work on that. I am using this book and the basic rover bot to test out some java code on it. I have tried a few lejos examples. This is a great book. Its just amazing thatjava can be run on 32K of memory!

5.0 out of 5 stars The closest theory about the mind, March 28, 2002
This review is from: The Society of Mind (Paperback)
I think this book is the closest and encomassing theory about the workings of the mind, as compared to other theories like neural network, expert systems in the field of AI. The book is full of ideas with an underlying general theory about the mind. This book makes me feel that the brain is like a huge organisation with differnt areas being specialised and communicating to each other, and resolving differences, while meeting its objectives.
I wish there was a sequel book explaining an implmentation model of Society of Mind.
