5.0 out of 5 stars Don’t miss this one!, July 12, 2014
Dr. Barry Libin has written a fabulous book that you ought to put at the top of your reading list. The Mystery of the Milton Manuscript, published by Urim, is a top-flight work of fiction that involves the reader as a taut thriller while also having something very serious to say about classics and their resonance in our own world of today.

The story concerns a PhD student whose professor is murdered – shortly before delivering a lecture in which he planned to alter everyone’s minds about what Paradise Lost was really about. The professor’s essay has gone missing, and – as in a Hitchcock-suspense tale – the intrepid hero sets out to find it, only to discover precisely why there are those who do not want the public to at last learn what the great English author (second only to Shakespeare) had coded into his epic poem.

This will remind you of The Da Vinci Code as far as enjoyment goes but there’s one key difference – The Milton Manuscript rates (as that earlier book did not) as a remarkable piece of writing, the style every bit as scrumptious as the storyline. Highly recommended, particularly for those who believe in the idea that the spiritual side of life, however remote it may seem from daily existence in our own over-loaded world, always remains right there on the edges, awaiting re-discovery.

Don’t miss this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars All the vampires you can handle..., October 29, 2012
Love how all the classic vampire characters and stories are intertwined with the real life characters and authors. Totally different than ANYTHING that you have ever read. Illustrated in the classic Hammer horror style.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shooting Stars is a Star, October 20, 2009
I love TV westerns and western actors. Shooting Stars is the most informative encyclopedia of TV westerns that I've ever seen. With this book as a guide, I would love to watch some of the episodes that I have not seen in a long time.

Very interesting and great fun. If you like westerns get this book!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sci-fi fun, February 11, 2009
I am a Science-fiction fan. I thought this book was not only insightful but fun at the same time; it aides you in looking as this particular Sci-fi masterpiece from a different perspective. It is a good read and simplifies many complex topics into concepts that everyone can relate to. I believe Rod Serling would be proud of this book!
