5.0 out of 5 stars A great satire, October 28, 2009
By P. Wiele (New Hampshire) - See all my reviews

I grew up listening to Weird Al, and this is one of my all-time favorite songs by him. It's a great jab at the attitudes of superstars, the music industry, and the RIAA. I strongly recommend downloading "Don't Download This Song", and if you like it, buying a copy of the album it's from, "Straight Outta Lynwood". The album has very few weak points and has some amazing music videos with it, including one for this song.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great song, and it's free!, October 28, 2009

I have grown up with Weird Al, have met him once, and he is one of the most down to earth, legit guys in the music business. And the fact that he is letting people get one of his tracks for free is a great little kick to his fans, and the song has a great message to it.

Thanks Al!

5.0 out of 5 stars It's a free Weird Al song, how can you NOT give it 5 stars?, December 21, 2009

Sure, it's not his best work, but hey, it's a FREE WEIRD AL SONG! And it's good, to boot. I could make the obvious joke about "worth the price", but I'll let that one go, and instead mock the person who gave it a bad review, and can't spell "parody". Hey, if you want to be taken seriously, get a spell checker. And, just maybe, use some punctuation. It doesn't have to be an Essay, but dude....

Get the Weird Al song, get the album. He's a cool guy, and does some really good work.

4.0 out of 5 stars Please, You're Not Letting Me.
I love this song, but it keeps showing up "price not available." If this keeps happening, I won't download this song somewhere else. Please, fix the link. For the children's sake.
