On your Xbox 360, go to Apps and click on the Amazon Instant Video icon. If this is the first time opening the application, it will prompt you to download the Amazon Instant Video application. Once download is complete, you can click on the icon and access Amazon Instant Video. If you cannot find the Amazon Instant Video icon, go to "Marketplace" in the Apps section and search for Amazon Instant Video.
How do I sign in to Amazon.com on the Xbox 360 Amazon Instant Video Application?
To watch movies and TV episodes on the Amazon Instant Video application, you need to sign into your Amazon.com account. If you don't have an Amazon.com account, you can create one for free at Amazon.com by clicking here.
1. On your Xbox 360, go to the Video or Apps section and click on Amazon Instant Video. If you don't see Amazon Instant Video, you may need to install it (see instructions above) or you may need to go to "Your Apps" in the Apps section.
2. Once you launch the Amazon Instant Video application, you will see a "Sign In" tile on the home screen - click on this tile to begin the sign in process. If you are not an Xbox LIVE Gold subscriber, you can sign up in this process. Then you can enter your Amazon.com email and password to register your Xbox 360 with Amazon.com.

Do I need an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription to use Amazon Instant Video?
Yes, you need to be an Xbox LIVE Gold subscriber to stream videos on Amazon Instant Video. You can browse the selection and view trailers without an Xbox LIVE Gold subscription, but to stream videos you will need to sign up for Xbox LIVE Gold.
Where can I rent and buy new movies and TV episodes?
You can shop the Amazon Instant Video store from the web on a PC, Mac or tablet. Purchases and rentals will appear in Your Video Library on your Xbox 360, where you can instantly watch your video. Buying and renting movies directly on your Xbox 360 is not currently supported.
Where do I find my Amazon videos on my Xbox 360?
To locate and watch your purchased and rented videos, open up the Amazon Instant Video application your Xbox 360 and select Your Video Library from the home screen. Rented videos will be removed from your video library automatically when they expire. To find more videos to watch and buy, browse our selection of movies and TV episodes online at the Amazon Instant Video Store on Amazon.com. Videos you purchase and rent from the Amazon Instant Video Store will show up automatically on your Xbox 360 in the Your Video Library section of the Amazon Instant Video application.

You can sign out of Amazon.com by going to Settings in the Amazon Instant Video application. You can then sign back in with a different Amazon.com email address. You may want to do this if you have multiple people using the Xbox 360 who have different Amazon.com accounts. Your Amazon Prime membership and Your Video Library are tied to your Amazon.com email address. You will not be able to access Your Video Library or watch Prime Instant Video content from your Xbox 360 when you are signed out of Amazon.com.

Amazon Instant Video on Xbox is currently available in all 50 states of the U.S., District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico. Amazon Instant Video is not available in the Virgin Islands.
