"The Last Backpack You'll Ever Need" - By S. C. Krystek (Glendale, Arizona)
I'm picky when it comes to backpacks and did a lot of research before choosing this one. I thought it might be too bulky based on the photographs, but it was the only bag that stood out for me. When it arrived, I was amazed at how small it was! Then I started toying with the adjustable straps and it unfolded into a bag that would hold more than most people would ever need, which was exactly why I purchased it in the first place! I wanted a backpack that could adjust in size depending on the amount of items you put in it and this did exactly that. It fits snuggly on your back, is completely adjustable and has a waist and chest connector strap so that you'll never worry about the bag falling off your shoulders.
I could go on and on about how amazing this backpack ... full review
I ordered & received this pack almost a month ago now... It's my everything bag. I waited to write my review because i really wanted to give the pack a run. First off, I can put EVERYTHING in this bag, okay. Here's what i keep in it: a GE 5000 camera in one side pocket, extra headphones, ethernet cable, batteries, other tech stuff in another side pocket, extra business cards in another... i keep a book or four in the bottom front pocket, alone with some pens & pencils & an umbrella, then in the top front pocket i keep my first aid stuff. in the main compartment, i put my travel toiletries in the mesh zipper pocket up top, then i've folded up a rain jacket with fleece shell, that's in the bottom of the bag. AGAIN, all of this stuff stays in the pack. IN ADDITION, i can ... full review
I live/work in the city, and needed a pack as I take public transportation every day. I personally removed the waist strap, but would probably leave it on if hiking or using in the deer woods. I like the size, as I tend to carry more stuff then I will ever need, if it was bigger I would only carry more crap. The biggest pocket works perfect for a jacket, thermos or two, and a book. One review complained about the size, I personally like that it's not bulky, nor allows me to be. If you carry anything of substantial weight you will have to figure out a way to get the shoulder straps to stay. They suck, I just tied mine into knots where they will no longer slip. A safety pin would probably stop them from slipping as well. The pieces that adjust the strap length (at top) ... full review
"Great and versatile rucksack" - By Kyla (Virginia)
I ordered this rucksack after previewing at least ten others. I was really worried about buying one that was strong enough to hold books, a computer, extra shoes, or anything else I need. It arrived on time and I fell in love with the weathered and official look of it. It's large enough to hold textbooks, gym clothes (including shoes), a computer and anything else you might want to carry around. It is also strong which is a big concern if you want to use it everyday. This holds up and looks awesome. A great buy.
My first impressions of this bag when I opened the box and pulled the bag out. I thought the bag was smaller than how I pictured it to be. I tried it on and was pleased with the way it felt. I am 5'6" 180lbs and felt satisfied with the fit. I love the versatility of it. many storage compartments inside and out to hold what ever you need. My use for this bag is a range bag. I was using my 17" laptop bag to carry my ammo, targets and various range gear. It was very bulky and heavy to handle loaded up. I took everything out and placed it in the Velox bag. What a big difference in comfort. The adjustable straps are a great plus also keeping the bag snug and tight. I recommend this bag to anyone. thinking of getting another one for an everyday carry or ... full review
I bought this pack recently and, despite having used it only once on a two mile bushwhacking trip through the woods, I thought some preliminary comments might help prospective buyers. I have many packs, including other military style ones, and I'm always concerned about the quality of cheaper ones. Example: a couple of years ago I bought 2 daypacks made by Diplomat (are they even in business anymore??), one is Coyote Brown and the other OD Green, each for $30. Nice design, strong material, good zippers, etc. BUT during one easy day in the field while using the brown pack two of the plastic buckles broke and some stitching started coming apart on the main seam between the shoulder straps. It's now my regular bag to carry gym clothes, so it's not a total loss. On the other hand the OD Green version has shoulder straps 3 ... full review
I really wouldn't consider this a 30L pack. I received it today planning to use it at a bugout bag, which I still did. It is REALLY well made and would survive brutal use. Internal storage pockets are ample. The MOLLE strapping is nice to mount my canteen, knife, etc.. To give you a general idea how much is able to be packed, I have a pair of cargo shorts, tee shirt, change of underwear and socks, full size (6') towel, complete med kit, complete creature comfort kit, and I still have a bit of room for more things, but not MUCH room. I'm sure I could make it a 72 hour pack if I removed the towel but to me the towel is essential as part of my summer outtings..and can be used as a blanket, cut to use as bandage, etc etc etc. I would STILL recommend this ... full review
I'm a 6'1 hiker and I was looking for a backpack that could not only store my stuff, but store things on the outside too. I found this pack to work nicely. It has MOLLE on it and comes with straps to strap things onto this pack. It works for what I need it for.
It does seem to be a bit small height wise, It has lower belt clamp that's for taking some of the weight off the shoulders like bigger packs do. Its suppose to rest on your hips, but since I'm tall it doesn't for me. So I personally wouldn't carry heavy loads in and on it, but for lighter loads its perfect.
I got the tan and I love its color, its desert in color and it fits it well.
It has two main areas with zippers then the offset one in the ... full review
