Amazon Publishing Contract Summary

Amazon Publishing is offering five publishing contracts. Four first-prize publishing contracts with a $15,000 advance against future royalties. One Grand Prize Winner will receive a publishing contract with a $50,000 advance against future royalties. You will be required to accept the Amazon Publishing contract "as-is" if you are selected as a First or Grand Prize winner.

Each finalist will receive a full publishing contract with additional details.

The following terms apply specifically to ABNA contestants and not necessarily all Amazon Publishing contracts.

Net Revenue Definition:Gross amounts Amazon or its affiliates receive from the sale of the Work, less customer returns and returns of unsold stock, and excluding taxes, shipping and gift wrap charges.
Interactive Edition Definition:Electronic applications, games or other interactive products incorporating or derived from the Work(s), either alone or in combination with other materials (such as sounds, game features, animation and interactivity).
