I was lucky enough to find a pair of these Bostonians for my husband at Marshalls almost three years ago. I loved them because of the style, quality of the leather, and how light as a feather they are. He took to them and then decided all his other shoes were clunky, so I got him a lightweight pair of black Bostonians also. He wore the first brown pair for about 2.5 years, 3-4 days a week - in the office and in the field. With a polish here and there, they held up well and I feel like Goodwill is getting a really nice hand-me-down. I was thrilled to find the style still available when I went to replace these. This shoe will never go out of style and it looks nice with suits, slacks and even jeans - year round. We both LOVE these shoes and recommend them ... full review
I am on my 3rd pair of Black and 2nd pair of Brown. I have worn them pretty much every day for the past 7-8 years. The shoe strings are the only thing that have not held up, but that is easily fixed. The sole is not leather, so you do not have to worry about having to constantly have that replaced, if you do alot of walking. I was pleasantly surprised with the value of the shoe offered compared to the price.

"Came new (unused) and $40 less than timberland site" - By JP
Had a similar pair that I finally had to retire after 8 years. Found these for $40 less than timberland site and was worried they were possibly previously worn, but was not the case. Really like the timberland boat shoes for their ability to wear w/o socks for easy on/off access on the boat. Had tried more expensive sperry brand but insoles came out when wearing barefoot. Net/net, good price, good quality, and good replacement to my old standbys. Just need to break them in a bit more and they will be perfect.
Bought these as this colour wasnt availible in the UK and other online retailers were over charging far too much. They arrived 5 days before the estimated delivery date and were packaged in a perfectly sized box with no sign of damage anywhere on the outside or inside GREAT!
For those yearning for the simplistic past yet wanting to compromise nothing to the present, this boot is for you. I own as well a Clarks Desert Boot with the only difference being the sole. However, having the privilege of an A / B comparison, to be true I prefer the "right out of the box feel" of the Bushacre. Pick your colour and think of nothing else. My only caution to those buying on-line would be to purchase a 1/2 size smaller than you normally would. All comments you may have read pertaining to this necessary sizing adjustment I have found to be true for Clarks as a whole. Now my friends, " Trod On"!!!!
"Very Happy - and I'm a shoe hoar" - By brettitonius (E. Washington, USA)
Yes, I know "hoar" is wrong spelling but you get my meaning.
I became interested in finding discount brands of dress shoes for work for the last few years. Over the last 20 years or so I had always gone on shopping trips to places like Vancouver BC and outlet malls around the Pacific NW to find solid name brand shoes that looked good. Brands like Aldo & Ken Cole have been my favorites and I tend to enjoy the European styling with interesting hem lines and long narrow toes.
I made the initial mistake of buying a pair of "Deli Aldo" shoes off Amazon, which looked nice in the picture but literally fell apart after 4 weeks of wear. You somewhat get what you pay for and I find that the sub $50 price point usually gets you a complete and utter piece of ... full review
