"Three reviews in one **" - By Whoever (Chicago, USA)
This review is three reviews in one:
** A case for the littlest Samsung Galaxy tablet (7") ** A comparison of the Kindle Fire and Samsung tablets ** The world of apps and games outside the Amazon, not available on any of the Kindle Fires
In the first place ignore anyone (always) who starts off with "this is a rotten product," unless the majority of other folks are also saying it's a rotten product. And there is nothing "rotten" about this any of these products. Some people just get a corncob stuck in the wrong place and or just like to howl to hear themselves howl.
In the second place, others have written detailed reviews about the Samsung tablets, feature for feature, spec for spec, and I'm not going to do that. I'm going to wander around and talk about what sold me on this particular ... full review
I wasn't quite sure how this tablet would perform based on the reviews given so far. This is my first tablet but I am very computer literate so it was no problem finding any answers to my problems. First, there is no manual, or at least I didn't find one in the short time I was able to look for it, the quick start up guide is sadly lacking. Be sure you plug in your tablet not to the computer but to the wall and you will be able to start it up after a few minutes charging. I was able to log onto the home network without any problems and it was faster than I was expecting due to the network being dsl rather than cable modem. I have found that the 16g sufficient for my needs at this time but i can forsee ... full review
"Fantastic Warranty is even more than advertised!" - By 4killerbs
This warranty is amazing. I bought my son a new Kindle Fire for Christmas in 2011. I knew that he would need the accidental warranty coverage. At first I wasn't sure if I wanted to spend so much on a warranty, but let me tell you... it is definitely worth it. After 2 months, my son dropped his kindle & cracked the screen. When I called squaretrade (no wait time to talk to someone) I was told that this would use up one of my 3 accidental replacements! We received the replacement very quickly. I am now looking for a less expensive tablet as a bday gift for my other son. I will definitely purchase this warranty again, even though the warranty will probably cost me more than 1/2 the price of the tablet, I think it is still worth it!
First off my fast touch came into the mail before projected date ! This Fast Touch is leaving the country to go to Mazatlan Mexico for a little girl. So getting it early made me feel the best to this company ! Second of all it is in my favorite color ! Hot Pink ! Yea...... My sister just loves it for camera being able to Skype me while I'm in Mexico and Belize ! I will be buying my 3rd one soon ! Love it, Love it ! Connie
"Finally a Great Android Tablet for under $100" - By TLC
I bought a few of these tablets for gifts. I kept one and so far pretty impressed with the quality. The clarity of the HD screen and the overall performance of the 1.5 GHz dual-core processor are impressive. Netflix and Crackle works great on the tablet. The battery could last longer (around 4 hours of use, similar to laptops, but half as long as an iPad) and the screen is not IPS, but what do you expect for under $100. Too me this was a great purchase! Saved a lot of money compared to the name brands (Samsung, Asus, Dell...) without much sacrafice in quality or performance.
Pros: 1) Fast duo-core processor 2) HD screen (1024 x 600) 3) Good wifi (better than my Asus T100TA tablet) 4) Loud audio
Cons: 1) Short a battery life (after a full charge, almost 5 hours ... full review
