Using it to discover what and when critters are trying to get my chickens, and what and when crooks are coming into my yard to "liberate" gas stored for emergencies and for my boat. Critters are the usual suspects - possums and raccoons - haven't photographed Snuffy Smif yet, but he doesn't live too far away. Haven't photographed any crooks yet either, but boating weather us not too far away. Lost an outboard tank and stabil-ized 2 cycle mixed gas last year. Camera works great. Good detail, and it switches from B&W at night to color in daylight. Settings are easy. On second thought, wish I would have bought a larger SD; I bought an 8gb, class 4 but should've gotten a 32gb, class 10 for high resolution videos.
The camera works great as expected. Be sure to calibrate the date/time and the camera functions so it will take your pictures as expected. You will also want to buy AA lithium batteries as it will eat up the AA akaline batteries very quickly.
"Great camera for my use" - By Roy E Cooper (Cardington, OH United States)
[[VIDEOID:mo1M2ZL86W1LJDL]]This trail cam takes good pictures and videos . I cut small bushes close to the camera to help prevent the camera from taking pictures of plants blowing in the wind. The daytime photos are excellent and the night ones show the detail needed to be useful. The picture is one of many good photos that let me know where the deer are traveling.
I like this camera. It takes good photos day or night that usually seem to have an animal, not just a weed blowing. I've had it out for over a month with probably 500+ photos and I'm still on my first set of batteries, it says 85% remaining. I like the information that it places on the bottom of the photos. All of the controls are pretty easy to understand. No major complaints but sometimes I have a little trouble getting it to turn off.
"GREAT PRICE ON A REALLY GOOD GAME CAMERA" - By djss55
I purchased the Primos Truth Cam 35 on 9-11-2010. It was simple to setup. I placed it in the field on 09-26-10, and set it to take 3 photos every minute. I retrieved the camera from the field on 10-03-10. It took 6,542 photos (day and night) of deer, ferrel hogs, squirrels, and racoons on an 8GB SD card, with 70% battery life remaining. Of these photos very very few were of small game. There were hardly any blank photos, if any. The night time IR photos were clear, except some blur did occur on some of the photos, if the game was moving during the shot. The wildlife did not seem to mind the night IR LED's. I did not notice where it ever startled them, though sometmes they would look directly at the red LED's. A few photos were a little dark ... full review
"2011 Model - Best trailcam on the market" - By JP Vic (NE, Ohio - USA)
II have three trailcams from Bushnell, two earlier models and this new one. This one is the 2011 model that has audio (not really important), a timer to take a picture (field scan), and can handle 32GB memory cards.
I also own three other trail cams from Moultrie a M-60, I-40 and a D-50. I had a cuddleback two years ago, and it worked fine, but it got destroyed (tree fell on it). I do not own the new Moultrie M-100, which seems very similar to this Bushnell, but this is the first year for the M-100 and I bet they will have software issues. This is the 3rd year for Bushnell and they have this camera dialed-in very well.
The biggest issue with my older Moultrie cams is battery life. They need feed 6 D cells about once a month. The ... full review

"easy & simple to use" - By ZZBLUES (Shreveport, La.)
I replaced an older trail camera of another brand with the Bushnell 8MP Trophy Cam. It is very simple to use.The menu is configured so that anyone can set up camera without having to refer to instruction book, after you read it once. There is some important info in it. I have been using it to watch an automatic feeder a little over a month now. It takes great pictures. I have it set on 5mp instead of 8mp. With the 32gb card I am using it says it will hold 999 pictures. So far it has taken just over 700 pictures and is still showing full battery life on the 8 batteries.
If Amazon would allow me to give this 4.5 stars, I would. This is my first Moultrie, but I've had several of the higher-quality game cams over the years from Bushnell, Primos and Wildgame Innovations, and so far, I think this is my favorite. I tested in my backyard for a few weeks and just had it out in the field for one day/night and it did great. The user interface is intuitive and the flexibility and options are great. It's also a great size and good camo design. The pictures are great during the day and as good if not better than any of the other cameras I have with night shots. I have not had any false positives that I noticed and I have not noticed the LED glow at night, so I think this is the best no-glow camera I've used. ... full review
